The Evil Prince

STORYBROOKE. On main street, Emma is closing the door to Ruby's car with the young Henry inside. Afar, David and Mary Margaret look on.

Emma says some things to Ruby, before the car drives off. Emma turns and begins to walk over to her parents.

"Don't push it, Snow." David says.

"I won't," Mary Margaret says.

"You guys ready?" Emma asks approaching them.

Mary Margaret opens her mouth, "We need to talk,"

Emma gets awkward, "I- Well, I don't- I just- I don't wanna talk." Emma says.

Mary Margaret just continues, "But I do, okay?" She says, "Gold can wait. I can't. You're my daughter."

Emma sees the pure smile on Mary Margaret's face.

"And I wanna talk to you. I know that we've talked, but we didn't know that we were talking. And we talked about things we probably shouldn't have even talked about. One-night stands and the like." Mary Margaret says.

David looks at Mary Margaret, "One-night stands?" He asks.

"Whale," Mary Margaret confess.

"Whale?" David exclaims.

Mary Margaret looks from her daughter to her husband, "We were curse. That is neither here nor there," She turns to Emma, "The point is, we did not know that we were mother and daughter. And now we do. And so, please, let's talk."

Emma sees the big smile on Mary Margaret's face. She can tell how important this is to the woman.

"Okay," Emma says, "What do you want to talk about?"

"We're together, finally. And I can't help but think you're not happy about it." Mary Margaret says.

Emma shakes her head, "Oh, I am. But- see, here's the thing. no matter what the circumstances, for twenty-eight years, I only knew one thing, that my parents sent me away." She says.

"We did that to give you your best chance." Mary Margaret argues with a small smile.

"You did it for everyone. Because that's who you are. Leaders, heroes, princess and princesses. And that's great and amazing, and wonderful, but it doesn't change the fact that for my entire life, I've been alone." Emma admits.

Mary Margaret's face falters.

David looks down for a moment, frowning.

"But if we hadn't sent you away, you would've been cursed, too." Mary Margaret says.

Emma looks at them sadly, "But we would've been together. Which curse is worse?"

There was a brief pause between the Charming's and Emma. Emma looks at her parents before turning her gaze away.

"Come on." Emma says, "Let's just- Let's go find Gold."

She walks off, and as she does David and Mary Margaret gaze after her. Mary Margaret's gaze lifts to David when she felt him hold her hand.

{ONCE}

THE ENCHANTED FOREST. Mulan, William, Prince Phillip, and Princess Aurora journey through the woods on horseback. Phillip had Aurora ride on his horse since there were only three horses.

Mulan stops.

"We should camp here tonight." Mulan says, "The Wraith only appears when light is absent. That's why it ran when it first appeared. Light is its adversary."
