STORYBROOKE. William and Jacob found themselves at the park in town. Both were on a swing and just talking.

"So you and Regina taking it slow?" Jacob asks.

William nods.

Jacob glanced at him, "And she was alright with that?"

William swung a little, "I could tell she wanted more but also understood. I think- I genuinely think she feels awful about giving me up."

Jacob kept his gaze on William.

"I'm not just gonna forgive her. She abandoned me as a baby, and it will take time to forgive." William says.

Jacob glances away, "Understandable,"

William kept his gaze towards Jacob, "I- I am sorry. We were attempting to get to know each other," William ran his hand through his hair, "And here I go talking about Regina."

Jacob turns to William and laughs lightly, "No need to apologize."

William stops swinging.

"Tell me what you do here? In Storybrooke." William asks.

Jacob smiles softly, "Back in our realm I was an average villager. Not exploring the world or going off on grand adventures," He says, "But the whole curse inflected on us changed who we were to some degree."

William just stared and listened.

"I'm a nurse. And you probably don't know what that is." Jacob says sheepishly, "Basically I work in a hospital and help people get better from illnesses or from injuries."

William was impressed, "Wow. Really?"

Jacob nods.

William smiles, "Incredible."

Jacob glances at William.

The two held a content smile on each other's face.

"What did William do in the Enchanted Forest?" Jacob asked.

"Hehe, before or after the curse?" William asks.

"Both," Jacob says.

William sighs to himself, "Before the curse, I lived in a small village inside the forest with my adopted parents. I left home a month ago- no that's wrong, well when I exactly turned eighteen." He says.

Jacob nods and listens.

"I left on a quest to- to find my family. Mainly, Snow." William says.

Jacob glanced forward, "Did you find her?"

William then watches as Jacob's eyes glance upon him.

"I'm here aren't I?" William grins.

Jacob smiles and shares a small laugh with William.

"During the curse, I embarked on quest after quest to help a friend reunite with a loved one." William says, "I owed Phillip so much. My experience, my first sword, my life."

Jacob frowns a little.

"I feel like I let him down coming here," William says, "I should've stayed with Aurora and Mulan."

Jacob reaches out and holds onto William's hand to pull him out of whatever despair he was about to fall into.

"Hey, hey. I'm sure he understands." Jacob says, "And I'm pretty sure I've heard the name Mulan before. If I recall correctly she can take care of herself."

William smiles lightly, but then his eyes linger to the hand that was being held by Jacob. Jacob seemed to have notice that and then slipped his hand out of William's grasp.
