Chapter 12: Hawkins V.S. Scotch

I am here inside the office of the Headmistress. She has something to tell me kaya I had to come. It's been two weeks simulang nangyari ang insidenteng iyon.

After stating my report about the mission she gave me, parang dito na rin ako tumatambay pampalipas ng oras. I could stay inside the Diamond's mansion but its boring. Halos hindi ko na nga nakikita si Chad at Shawn. Even that sly devil, Felix. I guess they are busy making rounds inside of the Academy. Mashassle kasi tatlo lang sila.

Hindi ko rin mahanap si Sir Hiro. Patuloy pa rin akong nawawala sa Academy. Kahit saan na nga akong napapadpad. Maganda nga't nandiyan si Nia, hinahatid niya ako at sinusundo bago at pagkatapos naming mag-aral. Para nga akong bata kaso wala lang talaga akong sense of direction. I've become close with the group too, kahit iilan sa kanila ay bipolar ngang kausap, kagaya nalang kay Lee. M.I.A pa rin si Micheal at si Chelsea naman...I guess nagiging close na kami. Queenie and her alipores continued to pamper me with all there nonsense pero hindi ki na rin iyon pinansin.

As of Felix, patuloy pa rin niyang sinisira ang araw ko. I hate him, no, I despise him. And luckily, the feeling is mutual. On the other hand, naging close kami ng childhood friend niya na si Timothy. It's ironic that somone from the ruthless Spades be this nice.

"...and you are going to be trained since isa itong part ng requirememt sa Academy."

Napatingin ako kay Headmistress Seraphina. Hindi ko namalayan na kanina pa itong nakikipag-usap sa akin. Was I really that deep in thought? Napabuntong hininga ito at umiling.

Oops, I'm sorry ma'am. Hehe.

"As what I said, you will be given special training since isa itong requirement sa Academy at para na rin ito to enhence your power." I nodded as she continued talking. "I am going to send you your private instructor since your power is still a secret. And you are still disguised as an ordinary human. You wouldn't mind someone else to know your power right?" Umiling ako. Wala na akong magagawa since kinakailangan rin naman.

"As you know, the war between the Jokers and us, the Avi, is still on going. It may be post-poned but we are not sure when they will strike. I heard from an anonymous spy that the Jokers are trying to lay low. We don't know why but we presumed that they are also getting ready for war. If that is the case, I guess kailangan na naming ilabas ang ating secret weapon." I nodded again. Alam ko na ang tungkol dito. She already told me about it sa orientation.

"Kilala mo na ba kung sino ang espiya na nandito sa Academy?"

I was about to answer ng biglang may kumatok sa pinto. Lumapit si Headmistress dito at bumungad ang isang matangkad na lalaki. Nag-sstandout ang kanyang magulong buhok. Makikita sa kanyang mata ang pagtataka habang minamasid niya kaming dalawa ni Headmistress.

"I guess hindi ko na kailangang iexplain ito tungkol sa iyo diba?"

Tumango ito. I almost forgot. He eas a mind reader. It was easy to give and recieve information when you have that kind of gift.

"I understand, Miss." Tumango ito at lumingon sa akin. "It will be an honour to work with you, Krizella." I looked at him questioningly. Shit, does he also know? I looked at the headmistress at umiling ito.
"Don't worry. Hindi iyon sinabi ni Ms. Seraphina." he winked again. Why is he being so mysterious?

I ignored the strange feeling and asked again. "Headmistress...do I realltyhave to tell him about my power?" Tumango ito and I sighed.

Lee continued to look at me expectantly, was he really that curious? Thank god, at nalaman ko na ring magmind-block. It's hard to think about your thoughts specially when you're surrounded with two Avi's fron Clovers.
