chapter 7

Sean's POV

I walked towards my care home and opened the door, one of the carers came towards me and said "welcome back Sean" I nodded and yhe carer patted my back "thanks Ross, I just need to take some time alone in my room" .

When I went into my room I closed the door behind me and sat on my bed before lying back and sighing, I took my iPad from my bag and opened up YouTube, the kids here were nice and so were the staff, but I wanted to live life on the run with Sarah, I wanted her to be with me forever.

I watched a YouTube channel called Harry FleuTV and I got tired so I put the iPad down and rested my eyes before laying back on my pillow, I woke up an hour later to the sound of knocking and the door opened to reveal my roommate Jeffrey, "hi" Jeffrey said.

Jeffrey was a nice boy, he had very dark brown hair and blue eyes, he sat on his bed next to mine, "so how's that girl you're always talking about?" He asked "oh, Sarah? She's good, I think we're officially dating", Jeffrey smiled "well, that's nice".

Jeffrey sat on my bed "hey, do you think I'll be a good doctor?" He asked , Jeffrey had had the dream of becoming a doctor when he grew up, I looked up at Jeffrey and said "yeah, I think you'd make a good doctor".

I sat up and Jeffrey put an arm around my shoulder and patted my arm "thanks bro" he slid his arm from my shoulder and said "hey Sean, do you think girls cheat like guys do?" I looked at him "what do you mean?" I aaked.

"Well, I heard from the other guys that my girlfriend Nina might be cheating on me with Ben" Ben was another boy in the care home, and a complete buttcrunch which is a word that the kids here used for jerk, I thought about Sarah and said "I don't think so, maybe some do?".

"Stop thinking about Sarah" Jeffrey said while smirking, he rolled his eyes, he got up "I'll go and talk to Nina about it, I hear that interrogating girls helps" then Jeffrey walked out of the room and I sighed before laying back on the bed.

The next day.

Sarah's POV

I walked to school and I saw Sean in front of me, I walked up to him and said "hi Sean" he looked at me and smiled, I slipped my hand into his and we continued walking, when we got to school we got inside the building and I heard the headmistress call my name "hey Sarah, can I talk to you?".

I slipped my hand away from Sean's and I walked towards the headmistress "what's up?" I asked "how are you doing with Sean, is he treating you well?" she asked "he's alright now, he's changed, I don't think I can tell you why, but he's not a monster, he's nice now".

"That's good" said Miss Simmons "you did a good job, come, I want to talk to you"  Miss Simmons gestured me to follow her to her office and I did, she opened the door and we both sat down "Sean's father was found today" Miss Simmons told me "and he's seeking out to find Sean".

My eyes widened "why?" Miss Simmons had a serious look on her face, "he found out that you cleared Sean's name in court, he's going to kill you and Sean, and I think he's in this school somewhere.

I gasped "why are you telling me this?" Miss Simmons coughed "because I want you to protect Sean" she then turned on the microphone on her desk and called "attention students, there is an intruder somewhere in this school, stay in your classes, we have a lockdown" she then looked at me and said "run back to your class now.".

I nodded and stood up before walking back out of the office, I quickly walked back to my maths class and opened the door before quickly entering and shutting it, I sat down, but Sean wasn't in the seat next to me "oh no" I whispered "Sean should be here by now, where is he?".

Suddenly Miss Simmons' voice bellowed through the loudspeaker "attention students, Sean Flynn has gone missing, we believe that he was kidnapped by his own stepfather" I gasped, I have to find him!  I thought.

After school, I went to Sean's old place, I opened the door and went inside, I could see my mom and she was sitting on the sofa, she turned her head towards me and her eyes widened "Sarah? what are you doing here?" She then stood up "are you looking for your boyfriend?".

I gulped as she walked towards me "I know where my boyfriend took him, I can take you there" my eyes widened again as she said this and my mouth dropped open "wait, why are you helping me?" I asked after a minute, my mom sniffed "well, let's just say things change".

My mom walked past me and opened the front door "come on then" she said, "get in the car" and when I did, we drove off, "so how far is this place?" I aaked, I was hesitant to go with my mom, especially after what she did to me and Dad.

She didn't say anything, and after an hour, we parked by an old house and got out "here" Mom said, "he's in there", I gulped and we both walked towards the front door, I opened it and suddenly Mom grabbed the scruff of my shirt "I've got her honey!".
