(Still Sonic's POV)

I swallowed my mouthful of pancakes and looked at Tails.

"What?!?" I asked in shock.

"The whole of Mobius is watching live. You show up completely naked and eat with horrible manners, including talking with your mouth open. At this rate you're gonna ruin your reputation and social image!" Tails whispered. I looked up at everyone.

"...Oops..."

They all tried to avoid my gaze. I heard a small beep and the sound of crickets exploded with in the room. I turned around to see the author holding her phone.

"Really?" I hissed.

"Sorry?" She whispered, dissapearing with a comedic 'poof'. I turned back to my audience who seemed to not have noticed anything.

"Uh.. hi! Sorry about before.... Can we start over?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I tried to hide my groan of discomfort but it still came out. Tails stopped talking.
"Sonic, are you alright?" He asked.
"I'm fine... My back just hurts a bit." I responded, wincing.
".... Alright,....." Tails hesitantly said, turning away.
Thank goodness the cameras weren't live anymore. The pain faded to a soft throbbing in my back, slightly below my neck. Eventually it stopped, until it came back as if someone had swung a sledgehammer into my head.
I yelped at the sudden pain and doubled over, gritting my teeth to the point it hurt, adding more pain to my skull currently being crushed by my hands.
Tails' POV
He told me he was fine! But I didn't believe him. Sonic always fiddles with his chest fur when he lies. And I was right.
I was talking with the interviewers when Sonic suddenly yelped and fell onto the floor in obvious pain. He clutched his head and curled into a ball.
"Sonic!" I screamed, running to his side like everyone else. "Sonic, are you okay?"
"DO I LOOK OKAY TO YOU?" He yelled through grunts of pain. This wasn't normal. Something was definitely wrong. (No sh*t, Sherlock!)
"What's wrong?" I asked, desperately searching my memories for when Sonic taught me how to handle a situation like this.
"I don't know..." He whimpered, tears sliding down his face. "My head just started hurting really bad and now.... now......" His body went limp and he passed out.
"Sonic! Sonic!! SONIC!" I tried waking him up but it was no use. I stared at his  relaxed form. "I think it's time you all left." I muttered.
Everyone agreed and silently exited as if in a funeral progression. I let them leave, then dragged Sonic to his bed as soon as they were gone. It was hard, but I managed.
Once I got my brother settled, I checked his temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, anything I could. His temperature was around 104. Definitely a fever, but nothing could explain his pain and why he went unconscious except.,....
No, he can't have it! He just can't! I grabbed my laptop and opened it.
'Patonia symptoms' I typed.
'please don't have it...'
I pulled up a list of symptoms and held my breath, reading. His actions matched some symptoms...
I pulled out my phone and dialled 811. 'J-just to be sure...'
I waited, crying a little.
"Hello this 811, what's your emergency?" A calm female's voice answered.
"Please help!" I sobbed into the phone. "I think my brother has Patonia!"
