Days had passed since that day that Mineta cried on recovery girl and he has had no idea how to face her. In complete honesty, she was useless but comforting. All she really did was kiss him and smile. But for some reason it stuck with him, the feel of her lips on his face- it soothed him.
Mineta sometimes thought about stopping by and taking up her offer of helping him out whenever he needed it but he would see a glimpse of her and dart the opposite way. It embarrassed him to much to face her again after crying like.
Yet mineta was standing outside of her office door once again- debating if he wanted to go in or not. It's been a daily thing since then. He always chickened out before hand.
"She may be busy- Izuku could be hurt again or something." He muttered before he turned around to walk away.
"Oh! Hello dearie- it's nice to see you around." An oddly familiar voice irrupted from behind him. He turned to see recovery girl in-front of him with a coffee in hand. Suddenly all he wanted to do was hug her and cry on her chest so she could pat his back and tell him everything will be alright.
"Hey recovery girl." Mineta summoned his courage to at least say that much-even if it was short. In response she just cocked her head to examine him.
"Say, is something bothering you?" She walked closer to mineta and dragged him into her office, "besides I told you to call me Chiyo!"
"She acts like Tsuyu when you don't call her Tsu." Minetamentally joked as he was being dragged. He also noted that she was a lot stronger than he thought- even if he was fairly small she was dragging him with a lot of force.
"I'm fine, I was just passing by." The boy smiled at her and sat in a random seat in the room. "But since I'm already here, I might as well as keep you company."
"Great job, as long as you don't tell her you want her to kiss you. That would be weird man- she might think you have a old lady kink." Mineta said to himself in his mind. He watched her smile a little at him and take a sip of her drink, her delicate fingers wrapped around her coffee cup.
"I didn't think you would actually come- not many people stop around here just to talk." She may have meant it as a light hearted joke but Mineta noticed how her eyes kind of faltered when she said those words, it's the same way he does when he makes a joke about his aspirations.
Suddenly the ball-haired boy looked around the room and realized that he would hate to be stuck in the same place all day. He figured that she had to be in here for the most part so it was easy to find her, just in case.
"I admire you Recovery- I mean Chiyo." Mineta thought out loud making Chiyo glance from her cup to him in question, "I mean, you are one of the main reasons why this school stays afloat, you heal the people who recklessly hurt themselves and you still turn around after that to ask if anyone else is hurt. It's amazing, really."
The older lady kind of stared at him in shock, nobody ever really compliments her unless she had just healed them or a loved one- not to mention that it was out of nowhere. She stared at Mineta who had a distracted look in his face while he was staring at the room. He looked so young, so full of opportunities like she once was.
"Well dear, you have all the same ability," His head snapped back over to her and he cocked his head in question. "Save the reckless and then turn around and go find more."
Mineta stared at her face to see if she would start going off into how it was a joke or how his classmates probably would do it better but it didn't come. She just sat there drinking her coffee. "She really isn't fucking with me." Was all the boy could think as he fought a smile but failed.
She went to go add something of to the conversation when the bell rang for their next class. Mineta stood up since his lunch break was over and headed to the door but before he could walk out he turned to Recovery Girl and smiled.
"Somehow, I think you just healed me even though you haven't even touched me."
