Chapter 4 The Beach

The whole parking space was filled with busses and everyone was rushing around to get to the right bus, to get things organised or to find their friends. Maybe the whole parking space was an overstatement but Chunsun really felt like that. He was running late since he stayed up late the day before to get some things done now all he could do was hurry to the bus his friends texted him to get on. Putting away his luggage he got on the bus. Since he was about the last person to get on the bus there weren't many choices left to sit. Looking around he spotted Mick and Kitty sitting together with their heads buried in some magazine in a heated discussion. Hunter was sitting with some girl, now that he was finally free of the study pressure, he wanted to focus his attention on getting more female friends in his life. Or that's what he proclaimed. The only seats left were an empty two-seater and the seat next to Beast. Every bus had three seniors assigned to it so that they could keep an eye on the first years. He knew that the other two in this bus were Gan and Chai. He could take a chance and take the empty two-seater but he was sure that Gan would take the chance to sit next to him and annoy him with something the whole ride to the campsite so the safest bet for him was next to Beast. Without much thought, he sat down next to the senior. Not wanting to bother him since he looked like he was sleeping he put in earphones and rolled up in his seat as best as he could. He really chose the perfect seat. The bus's A/C was blasting so it was rather cold inside but the seat he had chosen was perfectly warmed up by the sun shining through the window. Like a cat, he rolled up in his spot of sunlight and soon after fell asleep.

Chai sighed as he entered the bus. He had been busy since early morning running around getting everything organized and got all the necessities they would need. After him, Gan entered the bus. Walking down between the seats he stopped when he saw Beast and Chunsun sleeping next to each other like a big tiger and a small kitten enjoying the sunlight. He chuckled leaning over the two to lower the blinds on the bus window just enough to not take away their sunlight but also not have it shine right into their eyes after that he sat next to Gan. The other looked at him the second he sat down waiting for Chai to hand him the promised snacks for getting up early and helping him. Soon the bus started moving and the two finally had time to relax taking the time to talk.

"Gan I really need to ask you..."

"What is it?"

"About you and Chun? Honestly how long are you going to keep that feud?"

"Honestly I know I went too far at the beginning of the semester but now he doesn't seem to want to let it go so I keep playing his game you know I'm good at playing games."

"I'm just saying he is a nice guy and with the way things are going I'm worried it will bring our faculty negative attention with all the publicity the thing is getting."

"I know. I will let it go as soon as he does. By the way Chai, what do you think of him? You are really nice to him."

"Hm? I really like him."

"What? I didn't think you were interested in that kind of relationship." Gan turned to look at his friend in slight confusion. Chai blinked back at him also in confusion for a few seconds until he understood what the other meant.

"No, no, I didn't mean it like that. You know I always wanted a little brother, right? He is exactly how I imagined my little brother if I had one." He laughed a little awkward. "Let me ask you. You are the main person getting shipped with him what do you really think of him?"

"He is bold but at the same time has the little brother vibe. I'm honestly not sure what I think right now since we are still in the middle of our feud but I think I could be friends with him if we put that aside." Gan shrugged. He never really was that bothered about the whole shipping thing since people talk one way or another and since he wasn't interested in Chunsun that way it didn't really concern him. "What do you think of the whole Beast and Chun ship? You saw the article, right?" After some time, he turned to Chai again.
