"Girl you know you're lost

Lost in the thrill of it all"

Harry and I had been in the car for 15 minutes now.

We had been driving for so long my ass was tingling. You know the feeling you get when you've sat down for too long.

I take my eyes off the side window I'd been staring at for most of the car ride, we were mostly silent during this ride. Harry didn't start conversation, and neither did I. Surprisingly the silence wasn't deafening, it was more calm, comfortable.

"Is this the part where I find out you're actually a psycho serial killer?" I say breaking the silence that's settled around us, chuckling a little. I mean it is a valid question we've been driving for a long while in little side streets with trees all around.

I see his lips turn up into a smirk, head tilting to the side towards me.

"I mean Bundy was charming apparently, maybe I am a serial killer." he replies in a smug tone.

What's this witch being smug about? He just compared himself to a serial killer.

"Are you really smirking over being compared to a serial killer?" I ask, raising a brow. "Just because he was charming, you've lost brownie points, curly witch." I tell him off.

"I'm sorry ma'am, I realise how creepy that was now." he says, his features going soft for a split second before he resumed the smirk he wears, oh so often I've realised. He looks like he's planning something, which is giving me an uneasy feeling.

"How long do you think we have left till we get to your surprise destination?" I ask, getting impatient. I turn to Harry's profile, tapping my fingers on the windowsill of the car window beside me.

"We're almost there actually." he says, turning to look at my face for a split second before turning back to the road ahead of us. As he says this, I notice that the road we're currently driving on is more crowded, some traffic around us. Which is a contrast from the peaceful and mostly empty side streets we've been venturing on.

I nod even though I'm not even sure if he can see me. I turn back to my passenger seat window looking at the illuminated street, there's a long strip of different restaurants, some fancy looking, some homey and sweet looking. It was honestly very pretty.

We kept going until we reached this blue lit restaurant. It lit up the street, but at the same time it was dimly lit on the inside. A contradiction in itself

I love it.

I feel the car coming to a halt and realize that Harry's found a parking space in front of the illuminated restaurant.

Blue light floods the car, I turn my head and look at Harry and find him already looking at me.

"We're here," he says with a cute smile, showcasing his dimples. Again I'm struck by his beauty. This man looks to be ethereal.

"Silv, you still with me." he says waving a hand in front of my face. Breaking me out of my daze, I feel my cheeks flushing in the process.

"I'm still with you" I say trying to ignore the embarrassment that's spreading through my body. "Sadly" I add snarkily.
