The smell of pancakes and bacon filled the air as AnnaBeth placed one of the finished pancakes onto a plate. Magnolia made her way down the stairs into the kitchen with her slippers and robe on as she walked towards AnnaBeth.

Magnolia leaned over AnnaBeth's shoulder, gave her a quick kiss and asked, "You made breakfast for us?"

AnnaBeth smiled at her and remarked, "Who else would I be cookin' for?"

"True," Magnolia said as she reached over and grabbed a piece of bacon from the plate.

"Can you wait a minute?" AnnaBeth asked as she smiled at Magnolia.

"No," she replied. "You are just too good of a cook."

Magnolia turned and sat down at one of the stools that overlooked the kitchen island. AnnaBeth placed the last pancakes onto the plates and drizzled some syrup over them before handing the plate over to Magnolia.

"Have you put any thought into starting the catering business?" Magnolia asked as she took a bite of the light, fluffy delicious pancake.

AnnaBeth smiled at her and placed her hand on Magnolia's arm as she answered, "I have actually and I was hoping that you would like to run the business with me. I would do the cooking and you would handle organizing the orders and all that."

"Really me?" Magnolia asked, surprised.

They had just started this new relationship a few days ago, and she didn't know if she wanted to mix business into the equation. She knew that she wanted AnnaBeth to pursue this idea, but she didn't want it to break them apart if something happened.

"It's okay if you don't want to," AnnaBeth started to say, getting a bit defensive that Magnolia hasn't answered yet.

"I want to, I really want too," Magnolia replied. "I just don't want it to get in between us."

AnnaBeth nodded at Magnolia and she said, "I wouldn't have asked you if I thought it would come between us. If we start arguing over the business we can stop doing it because being with you means more to me than some catering company."

"Okay," Magnolia said ressuring herself. "Let's do this then."

She moved closer to her girlfriend and kissed her in the middle of their kitchen. Nothing else in the world mattered in that moment to them besides each other and the life that they were going to build together.

The sun shone through the windows of the guest house casting a beam of light onto the bed where Scarlet slept. Her hair was damp, and wavier than normal from being out in the rain the day before. She started to move around in her bed as she slowly began to wake up when she heard the sound of her phoning ringing on the table next to her bed.

"Hello?" She said as she answered the call.

"Can you open the door? I'm downstairs," said a familiar male voice that she knew belonged to Travis.

"Sure," Scarlet answered as she sat up in her bed. "Give me a minute."

She ended the call putting her phone back down on the table next to her bed and sat up in bed. She slipped on a pair of slippers that were on the floor near her as she put on her favourite comfy oversized sweater that Hunter had given her when they were in high school.

Scarlet walked down the stairs in the house and opened the door to reveal Travis standing on the other side of the door with coffee and a bag from Suzie's in his hand, "I brought breakfast!"

Travis stepped inside of the house and Scarlet guided him into the living room. He placed the bag on the table and handed Scarlet a cinnamon bun and her cup of coffee.
