"Where are they?" you asked.
You didn't even bother to greet me a Good morning or a Hello or a whatsoever? Srsly? Wow!
"I dunno," I answered, lazily.
Damn friends! Kanina pa papunta pero wala paring nadating.
"Earlybird, wow!" you chuckled.
I was late for almost two hours and you were.. ten? Fifteen minutes? later.
I rolled my eyes and left you.
Pumasok ako sa loob ng convenience store and decided to wait for the others in there. After a not so long nakaupo kana din sa tapat ko.
Then there was this kid. He was wearing a faded jeans and a dirty loose blue shirt.
He walked in but the guard immediately swooped in and said, "Bawal ka dito, 'toy."
I felt sorry for the kid.
I stood up but you pulled me down and shook your head no.
"PERRY!" you called.
The guard glanced at us, quizzically.
"Kilala niyo po?" he asked.
"Yes po," I answered.
"Kapatid ko po." you added.
We looked at each other and found ourselves smiling like idiots.
The boy walked towards us and sat beside you.
"Anong name mo?" I asked.
"Peter po." he answered.
"Malapit na din pala sa Perry, eh." you said. Then we all ended up laughing.
We decided to ditch our friends and just spend the day together with the kid.
"It's Christmas month. Let's be his Santa." you said.
That day, I met the real you.
That day, I started to like you.. more than a friend.
I am inlike with you.
