It was raining hard, our ankles were soaked, sharing that small umbrella, and stranded to the place we both do not know.
We ran to the nearest hotel and just like some cliche love --scratch love, we were just friends- stories, there was only one room available. A room, a shower room, and a bed. Just that!
The night had fallen. We shared the same mattress, still keeping our safe distances, and silently listening to the sound of raindrops. I couldn't sleep. I wasn't used to your presence in the bed. It was awkward, yet calming.
