Waikiki is an hour ride from the villa. After eating breakfast, I headed to Waikiki right away to get surfing lessons. Of all the things, I didn't expect this because I could jump but the coordination needed for surfing is what I don't have. I never excelled in sports, I admit. Brains is what I have best.
I was walking along the beach's shore, looking for that school listed for me, Waikiki Surf School. The more I looked up, I realized that I was going farther away from the main beach. The main beach was crowded with people compared to Waimea. A lot of them sunbathing and enjoying the heat of the sun. The salty natural breeze is what you're supposed to get used to. It's my day 3 and it's getting into me.
This side of the beach was less crowded. I can see people surfing on their colorful boards. Probably this was it? I turned around to look for the sign of the surf school. Not minding where I was walking, only to bump on a stone-hard chest. He placed his hands on my waist. His cold calloused hand collided with my bare skin, sending jolts of electricity all over my body. I closed my eyes in an instant. I knew that touch. Those hands. He made sure I won't fall my butt off.
I tilted my head up to find the stranger, again.
"Here you are, again. You bump into me and say you aren't stalking me." He smirked at me. Clearly, enjoying this better than I am.
"I'm not stalking you, for your information Mister stranger. Get a hold of yourself. You thick faced asshole." I snapped, "After that marriage stunt during the cliff diving you did yesterday? Hell, no."
"If you're searching for the surfing school, this is it. Come on. I'm guiding you to where the instructors are and where to pay." He tries to grab my hand but before he does, I spat his hand away. I kept my hand away from him...away from the electricity. It was just how the cold breeze touches your skin and gives you goosebumps, making the hair of your nape rise.
"After being such an idiot with an ego so high than those buildings, I ain't coming with you."
"Okay, I'm sorry for stealing your taxi and for being an idiot with an ego as high as those buildings. I'm sorry for pulling you with me without any notice. Hawaii is where you're supposed to have fun." He cleared his throat, "Now, that's my apology. I'm Miles by the way." He offered his hand as a way of saying sorry. And this was a start. A start of getting to know the stranger I've been seeing for the past days. A start of knowing the person who electrifies me. And it scares me.
"Finally, I've put some sense into your non-existent brain. I'm Bree. Not nice to meet you because I've been crossing paths with you for 3 days now." I rolled my eyes because this dude is hilarious.
"Right. Come on! Pay your dues and start your classes that last for 2 hours." He grinned at me.
I took a deep breath, "Okay, okay..."
"Such a good girl!"
"Oh, please...better shut up."
I pay the amount for the surfing lesson. He was right, 2 hours for the lessons. I got myself into a group lesson since the instructors for private surfing were all occupied. To top it off, I was in the same group as Miles. I placed my things inside a locker and prepared myself. I was instructed to go to the shore to begin the class.

The different positions we could do while surfing was discussed. Including the parts of the surfboard. I got lucky because I was able to grab a pink surfboard. The surfboard was a couple of inches above me. We were briefed on where to step, what we should do before climbing the board, during, and after. We were told to feel the waves and balance as much as we can.
