'' Flight 7898 to Los Angels is boarding now , flight 7898 to Los angles is boarding now '' the female voice said over the speaker as a handful of people , mostly tourists stood up from the chairs in the airport walking to their gate. One of these unwilling travelers were Siren who also picked up her backpack and walked after her mother and Axel through the busy gates of airport only stopping for a second to get her boarding pass.
''They gave us separate seats , I ca-"Axel tried explaining when suddenly Siren sow this golden chance and grabbed it.
''I volenture as a tribute '' she exclaimed walking away with the ticked to another side of the aisle seeing now that her seat is beside a boy no older than herself.
''Hey'' the boy with messy brown hair and glasses exclaimed when he noticed Siren sitting beside him.
''A talker great'' she said in her most sarcastic voice with a smile leaning back" well hello random stranger "
'' Not really fond of talking, are we?'' he asked laughing '' My name is Jordan''
'' You got it there'' she got out followed by a nervous laugh '' Siren here''
'' Vacation?'' he asked after a moment of silence as the plane took off .
'' No, I'm moving there , and sadly for you I will no longer indulge in your 20 question game seeing you could be a crazy killer" she said giving him a last smirk before putting in her headphone on. A light chuckle left the boys mouth with a final glance to Siren's now sleeping figure before he leaned back reopening the book left in his lap.
Six hours later and she was shook awake by a flight attendant seeing the plane was almost empty , she noticed a yellow note on top of her phone with Jordan's name and phone number. She shook her head but for some reason put the note in her pocket before following the remaining passengers out of the aircraft.
The lengthy taxi ride plus the heat of los Angles air didn't help the annoyance building up in her in addition to Axel's positive blabbering continued. So when the taxi finally came to an stop she was the first one to get out pf the house. The house ended up being a redish-pinkish house from 1900 , it was huge with a garden and gave off a what she could only describe as los angles vibe. Before she could see anymore of the house she noticed a woman carrying a dog walked up to where they were all stood.
''Hello, I'm Marcy, you must be the Miller family" she introduced herself and Siren couldn't help but feel her blood boil at the mention of them as a family even through she somehow restricted herself as the woman began talking again "I hope the flight went smoothly"
"Nice to meet you I'm Axel miller , this is my girlfriend Juliette and my daughter-"
''Last time I checked we weren't related " a sarcastic smile appeared on her lips as she stated the obvious.
''This is siren'' he said said looked at her with a smile ignoring her statement "and yes luckily it all went super smooth"
Upon entering the house Marcy began telling them about the different room as they kept walking around "as you see there still are some furniture left by the last owner , We can move the-"
''No its fine , we will keep them '' Juliette respond her hands feeling the silk couches followed by a smile.
''Oh , thats fantastic but its my job to tell you about the last owner '' she said and paused for a while '' they just so happen to have died in the house ''
''How?'' Siren asked suddenly interested in the conversation.
'' The mother of the Family died during child birth , her husband commited suicide after that, poor man didn't handle loosing his wife and so well. This little puppy is all left of that family '' she said and sighted stroking the back of the pup cuddled in her arms '' I hope you don't have ghost phobia'' she joked laughing.
Axel and Juliette threw each other an unsure glance before Marcy picked up on it.
''Well, the moving truck is here and I better go so guys can get in the house'' Marcy said smiling before walking out '' have a nice day''
''Great , I'm going to pick out my room before someone pulls a Exorcist on us and kills us all" she said walking up the stairs to the second floor.
Walking past room she noticed one which she looked like a teenagers room" she didn't say anything about them having a teen" she mumbled to her self.
''Save yourself'' a breeze traveled through the room sound like what could be described as whispers but Siren shrugged them off.
'' 6 hours flying makes you hear thing'' She mumbled looking around the room , a chalkboard stood there with " I still love you" written on it , the carped was a white color and the walls was colored the same color '' this room need some posters"
''Siren'' Axels voice broke the comforting silence in the atmosphere.
''What?'' She yelled not bothering to go downstairs.
''Me and you mom are going out for lunch do you want anything'' he asked but left before she could even answer.
She shook her head turning around walking towards the bookshelf there her hands slowly erasing the spine of the few books left there with dust covering them all.
''You are going to die in there '' a voice startled her making her jump around to face a girl who couldn't be more than a few years older than her.
''who are you , what are you doing here?'' She questioned, panic visible in her voice.
'' I'm a ghost , I can go anywhere stupid'' she said laughing starting to mess in my stuff.
''No you are not " she said still in the state of denial.
"I'm Adelaide Langdon, you can call me Addy"
