"So what made you move here?" the older boy questioned as they had both moved to sit infant of her bed leaning against the cold metal.

"They like to pretend it was just for Axel's job" she responded followed by a shrug turning her head slightly to look at him.

He repeated her actions but proceeded to keep quite like he was waiting for her to come with her own explanation to why she dropped all she had and followed her folks across the whole country.

She turned her head back to slightly leaning towards the bed frame slightly closing her eyes "They wanted a clean slate, start a new and pretend we are one happy family." she reopened her eyes as her phone rang in her hand signalising a text from Jordan telling her he was outside "ironic kind of not gonna lie" she said standing up as they both walked down the stairs.

"what's ironic?" Tate questioned looking at her while she was too busy responding to Jordan's text to notice his gaze.

"They moved all the way here to stop being haunted by the ghosts of their own past and look where we are now" she said with a little chuckle as she opened the door.

On the other side stood the tall brunette boy, a toy axe in hand and a loop sided smile upon his lips " It would've probably been so much easier if you just told me to come to the murder house"

She ignored her statement and looked down at the toy axe he was holding with a raised brow " You really weren't joking about killing me eh?" she asked while opening the door a bit more so he could walk in.

"Dont worry cleaning crew is on their way I told you I wouldn't make a mess" he said as he finally tore her eyes from Siren and focused them on the boy standing behind her.

Siren followed his and as hers also landed on Tate she slightly cursed herself for being the creator of this awkward meeting "Right Jordan, this is Tate my next door neighbour"
