TFP Optimus Prime With A Shy S/O Headcanons

-When you first met the Prime, you were very scared and frightened. The Decepticons had attacked near your home, though the battle had demolished your house, you were lucky enough to be outside before anything happened. A bot from the team had spotted you, and they took you back to their base.

-When you arrived Agent Fowler was there and said you would have to stay at the Base while they rebuilt your house. You were very anxious over that.

-Optimus, when first getting to know you always made sure he was calm and gentle when speaking towards you, and always made sure that you had felt comfortable since this was now your home too.

- During the first few days of adjusting to the new home and meeting the other humans who knew about the Autobots, you were usually locked up in your room, upset at what you lost and what couldn't be recovered. You were feeling really homesick, which is a feeling you an Optimus had bonded over, though the only difference being that yours was being repaired.

- As you grew more comfortable around the Base you started opening up a lot more, even if it was mainly towards Optimus.

-He started carrying you around on his shoulder, and that gave you a feeling of safety.
-He'd take you out for drives, and you really enjoyed and appreciated the one-on-one time.

-One time, you had gotten hurt, and Optimus went into 'Mother Hen' mode, always asking if you were okay, or if you needed anything. Of course, you'd always say you were fine and didn't really need anything, but admittedly, you liked the attention.

- After a month and a half of living at the Base, you found yourself fancying the Prime. You didn't want to tell him though, just in case he didn't feel the same, he was a giant robot and all.

-Unknown to you, he liked you too, but really couldn't find a good time to tell you his feelings.

- Subtle flirting goes on for a few weeks, and Miko catches on.

-Oh no.

-She tries to get you out of your shell more to ask him out, but it's almost a futile attempt, you just don't wanna.

-Though, despite her knowledge, the encouragement did help you.

-In the end, you did end up asking him out, in an adorable way, in his opinion.

-Amongst the many topics you and Optimus talk about, flowers happened to be one of them. You noticed the big bot had an appreciation for them, so what better way than to use flowers for when you ask him out?

- You gathered as many nice ones as you could, walking out of the flower shop with a bunch of large bouquets, and had used them to make a big flower crown, it was hard to hide from Optimus since it was difficult to move so many flowers in a delicate way quickly, and sometimes you had to restart, but it was worth it.

-When you asked him, it was in the privacy of his room, the two of you were quietly chatting about how your day went when you had brought up the question.

-"Optimus, can I ask you something?" He picked up on your nervousness immediately, though responded with a "yes," and a nod of his helm.

-"What're your opinion's on........Interspecies relationships?" He gave you a confused glance, so you continued, "as in, human and Cybertronian."
-Ah.

-He understood the message now.

- He gave you a gentle smile, and said, "If you really love them, nothing will hold you back from being together. Appearances aren't important if you're truly in love."
-You were shocked at his answer.

-And relieved, so you went on talking again.

-"And if it were us?"

-The Prime smiled, "I'd be grateful for it,"

-Now your confidence was high.

-You gave him a grin, "I'll be right back, I have a surprise,"

-He stared curiously as your form retreated into one of the smaller human-sized storage room that was connected to his.

-After like, 5 minutes of struggling, you finally managed to get the giant flower crown out gently and present it to him.
-"Tada!!"
-He's amazed by how nice it looks, you've spent a lot of time on it and it shows.

-"It's a flower crown! I thought you'd like it," you smiled up at him, gently holding up part of the crown to him.

-He picked up the crown gently and set it on his head, a warm smile on his face-plates.

-"Thank you for this, Y/n, It looks lovely," the sweetness in his tone made your face blush, and you give a shy smile.

-"It was nothing really, I thought you would like it,"

-From then on you two had started dating.

-You'd usually make him a flower crown if missions went super well or if he just needed some cheering up.

-He'd often forget that he was wearing them and walking around the base with it on.

-The first time it happened everyone snickered and chuckled at the intimidating leader wearing a flower crown.

-It took Optimus a few moments to realize he had still been wearing the flower crown, though, made no effort to take it off.

-After a few months of your relationship with the Prime being official, your house had been rebuilt, and you could return home.

-Que Optimus becoming protective of you and insisting he become your guardian, though you didn't mind too much.

-He'd drive you to and from the base, and would usually park down the street from your house at an empty lot, just to ensure that you were safe and the Decepticons didn't come back.

-All in all, you really liked dating the Prime, even if at first you had met due to unfortunate circumstances, you've come to love him.

So this was my first headcanons chapter, and I think I did decently okay? Lmao. I'm alternating which books are being updated each week, and I've also started posting snippets of the chapters the day before I publish them, jsut to help me keep on track with everything.
