There was a knock at my chamber door, I didn't understand why because I could not unlock it from the inside. Trust me, I've tried several times to escape but that just was not happening. After a few moments, I listened as a key was tampering with the lock until the door was open. Looking over my book, I saw Lilith, the youngest and most modern looking maid in the castle, she was no older than 20 years of age. She also happened to be the only one I liked this bloody place.
"The master wanted me to help you get ready for dinner tonight" Lilith said as she closed the door behind her, slowly getting off the ground, dropping my book onto the chest. I smiled sadly as I nodded my head.
"Alright... I guess"
She then did something I've never seen her do before, which was open the chest. I watched as she unlocked it and opened the tip, letting my book slide onto the bed. Trying to take a peek on what's inside, she threw a small black bag out and slammed the door shut, relocking it.
"I'm sorry" she said "you can't exactly look inside. You see I prepared this chest when I first started working for the master, because he made me create this room for the girl of his dreams. Not extravagant but nice, dark and cozy" then she picked up the bag and handed it over to me. "put this on under your dress for tonight, it might be your key to escaping" as Lilith drifted to the wardrobe, I pulled the items out of the bag one by one. It was lingerie. Black with red trimming and lace. I didn't understand what she meant until I peeled out of clothes and slipped into it. Looking in the mirror, I realized what she meant. I could seduce him, get the keys and get out of here.Turning back to Lilith, she had pulled out a black gown with long lace arms, and red bottom heels. The dress was stunning and the shoes were beautiful, I couldn't do anything but be amazed. With a few minutes to spare, Lilith helped me into clothes, did my make up which was black eye shadow, fake eyelashes, and red lips. Lastly she did my hair, a long black French braid that went almost half way down my back.
Hearing the chime of the grandfather clock that went off every hour, Lilith ran over to the door, unlocked it and held it open. "The master awaits..."
I've been locked in this mansion for quite a while now. Possibly two months maybe even three. I'm 18, 19 in one more month and I can't stand this shit anymore. But I can't wait for someone to save me, I can't be Cinderella... I have to rescue myself
