Outside looking in...

Sitting on my bed, I drank from my tea cup as my best friend Jhené laid across the bottom with her lap top open, typing away.

"No fucking way, all of this is a true story? Like this story is gonna be a hit" she said with a smile.

"Yeah it's amazing, life is a crazy thing."

"So then what happened? Ya know after you found the bitch at Aaron's house? Like have you seen her since, cuz if this book is gonna be out there I need to get all the details. With changing the names of course, you can be.... Elizabeth and instead of Leo he's.... Raph, short for Raphael "

"Bitch wait, like the ninja turtle?"

We both broke out into laughter,

Jhené was my best friend, like my ultimate best friend. We grew up together since kindergarten we've been conjoined at the hip and the only time I haven't seen her was when Leo had me. She's literally like my other half, without her I have no clue who I'd be.

"And I have another question... Are you a- vampire?"

Ripping my pj pant leg open, to show my bare thigh I took my nails and dragged it across my leg cutting it completely open. She stared in awe and disgust before she watched it claw back together and literally pull itself back together.

"Outstanding... Can you turn me into a vampire?" she asked pleadingly.

"No, not yet Anyway.... I don't know how dangerous this life can really be but once I learn it's not too bad, I'll ask Leo to do it."

I watched as she continued to type, and I noticed the time. 6:45pm. It was time to get ready.

Coming off the bed I walked into my closet and pulled out a similar outfit Lilith wore in my dream. Long black healed boots, black tight but stretchy jeans, a black tank top and black leather jacket. Being aleady showered I just began to get dressed.

"Where are you going dressed like That?"

jhené asked as I slid on my leather fingertips gloves with small spikes.

"Lilith is going to die tonight and I have no choice but to do it myself" he face was reflected in the mirror, filled with disbelief and horror.

"You're gonna kill her?"

"Yes, it needs to be done and I would kill myself if I let someone else handle my problems." pulling my long hair into a high ponytail, I fixed my makeup. Mascara, thick eyeliner, burgundy red lips with a darker lip liner. Turning around I faced Jhené .

"What do you think?" she smirked and then got up from the bed and hugged me.

"gorgeous as usual... Now do me a favour"

"What is it love?" I asked as I hugged her back

"You kick her ass and come back to me. You're my best friend and if i hear your 6 ft under by some sexy lightskinned killer named Leo or some pretty blonde headed white home wrecking bitch named Lilith, I will go ballistic"

With a smile I hugged her tight. This girl was my sister and now I've made a promise to her. So I will not let her down.

"You've got my word, sleep over tonight. Just so I know your safe." letting go I slipped my phone into my back pocket, and pocket knife onto my jacket pocket. I then brushed off my shoulders of the jacket, popped the collar and looked into the mirror with a deathly grin. "Time to get shit done" I ran over to the window, opened it and slid out, sitting on the cill.

"Good luck beautiful, yo ass better come back or else I bring you back to life to kill you again."

"I will, you've got my word" hopping from the window, I landed onto the ground to see Leo's car in the driveway.

Guess sis hasn't come back yet.

Dear God, please don't kill me. Please don't let me die tonight. I ask you with all my life, don't kill me.

Getting into the passengers seat I pulled my seatbelt on and looked over at Leo.

"Ready?"

"Yes" his hand was on the gear shift and I placed mine over his as he back up and o to the street. The hourglass was almost empty, it was time for the fight to begin.
