PHILLIPE'S P.O.V:
I feel like someone just stabbed me. I was just like them? What does she mean?
"You caused me pain too Phillepe," she says, as though she can read my thoughts. She looks at her blood dried arm. New blood was flowing out of my nail marks. I stand up and back away from her slowly, then run towards the door. I hear her yell my name, but once I'm out the door, I don't stop. I hear footsteps behind me and turn see Mikey racing after me. I turn and face him.
"Dude," he says, "what's up with you?"
"I hurt her Mikey," I say. "I can't be around her."
"It's just a little blood," says Mikey, "she-," he cuts off at the sound of footsteps. We look at the opposite side of the road to see a group of large teenagers walking. Jeremy and Alex are walking ahead of them. I almost die when I see that they're walking to Emma's house.
Mikey's P.O.V:
Phillepe and I take off toward Emma's house. By the time we get there, the high schoolers have already dragged Emma out of her house and thrown her onto the concrete. Emma looks up at Jeremy in horror.
"Jeremy, please," she says, "I apologized, I thought we were cool." Jeremy gives a wicked grin. He raises his hand.
"This is for all the pain you caused me," he says. Then he does his famous snap.
EMMA'S P.O.V:
I look at Alex with remorse. I'm surprised too see regret, not pure hate, in his eyes. The high schoolers are on me in an instant. My face collides with pavement. I feel a cool blade press into my neck.
"Sencere," I say, "nice to feel your pocket knife again."
"Emma," Sencere growls in my ear. "When was the last time we were in this situation? Two years ago?"
"Sounds about right."
"Well," he says, "I'm afraid this will be the last." I feel the blade press harder into my neck, and close my eyes.
