~Narrators POV~

"Human Trafficking?" Don was confused about what Emma was trying to explain. Emma, Ray, and Norman had decided to tell Don, Gilda and (Y/n) about the orphanage, but told a small lie about it all. Something similar rather than completely different from the real situation at hand.

(Is anyone else also thinking bout Kokichi when I wrote 'lie'. No? Just me? K)

"Y-yes. All of our siblings had been sold off to bad people." Emma continued her white lie, but one certain person at the back corner of the library didn't believe such a fib. All of a sudden laughter started to erupt from Don. He wasn't buying it.

"There is just no way! No way!" He continued to laugh

"But, the walls, the gates, our siblings who left and never wrote letters-" Norman tried to justify but was interrupted by Don

"Oh come on. What's the punchline? What kind of prank is this?" Emma didn't answer. All she could do was look down. This made Don go serious, he didn't want to believe what his siblings were telling him. Not one bit. Surely it had to be some kind of joke... right?

"Y-your not saying it's true are true?"

"It's true," Ray said with all seriousness. He was sitting on the ladder in the same area where (Y/n) was sitting. (Ironic ain't it ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°))

"W-wait, then what about mom?" Don asked, concerned could be heard in his voice as he spoke.

"She's the one... who is selling us to bad people" Emma answered whilst looking down. She truly hated lying, but she had to. Don and Gilda may not be able to handle the truth.

"Th-there is no way! Mom would never do something as cruel as that!" Don was starting to get furious, you could hear his starting to get louder and louder by the minute. "Take it back Emma!"

"Don" Gilda called out, despite (Y/n) quiet antics. Gilda had been silent throughout the whole conversation. "Emma adores this house and Mom, so, so, there's just no way Emma would lie about something like this," Don starred at Gilda with horror, as she continued to talk. "At first, I did think the way Emma was acting weird. Ever since Conny left..." The name of Conny flowing out of Gilda's mouth gave this weird feeling to (Y/n). She wanted to ignore it and focus on the conversation but at the same time. She wanted to know what this feeling was.

"When Emma and Norman went to the gates-" Gilda continued with Don cutting her off.

"Y-you went to the gates?" (I just realized I'm making Don stutter a lot)

"Even though you broke the rules," Gilda continued "both of you would've apologized to momma immediately, and then everything would've been back to normal, but... You never did that." Emma and Don both looked at Gilda in shock, as she continued. "Emma, you've become more serious lately, and I couldn't ask about it..." Gilda started to have a breakdown with everyone staring at her. Emma rushed over to Gilda and started to apologize to her for making her worried.

"D-did, y-you... did you see it E-Emma... Did you see Conny being sold off?"

"... yes," Norman replied, in a serious face. "But, we didn't make it in time..." He looked up to see if (Y/n) was okay, he didn't know why he would even look at her. The girl was emotionless after all. So he wasn't surprised when he saw that familiar poker face just staring back.

"Conny is safe... right!?" Don quickly asked

"... I don't know," Was all Norman could reply to.

"But how... How could we have let this happen!?" Don was also on the verge of tears. If only (Y/n) could feel emotions, this right here would've been a pity party. (Is anyone else now singing Melanie Martinez? I'm sorry I'll stop) Ray crossed his arms as he looked down at (Y/n). He didn't know why, but his eyes would always travel back to the certain female, who was just watching the conversation unfold. He couldn't help but mentally praise her calmness over the bittersweet lie. Or is it...

she knows something that...

they all don't.

"I don't know if this proves anything, but these are our siblings' scores that I had Emma and Ray look into for the past few days," Norman stated with a piece of paper in his hand. He placed it down on the table as (Y/n) stood up from her seat and walked over to that table.

"I see that all the six-year-olds with the lowest grades are shipped out first, and by the age of twelve is your deadline." (Y/n) stated

"Y-yeah, you're right," Norman hesitated. "It's a bit strange, isn't it?" all (Y/n) did was hum to Norman's question.

"Don, Gilda, (Y/n), Let's escape and help Conny and the others, Let's all run away from here together!"

~TimeSkip~

Emma, Norman, and Ray left the library and were now walking through the hallway. An arrow appeared out of nowhere and went straight past Emma, nearly cutting off some of her skin. They all froze by the attack and turned around. They all saw (Y/n) with her bow and arrows, her hand was still near where her arrow was supposed to be. She only brought it down when they all just looked at her.
