"good job everyone. see you next time." said their coach. their practice ended earlier than they expected, hyunjin have to wait one more hour for seungmin to come.

he sat on the bench and dried his hair with a towel. his friend then patted his back, "aren't you going?" he asked. hyunjin looked up and shook his head, "you guys go first, i'll go later." he said. his friend nodded, "alright. see you tomorrow," he smiled. hyunjin returned the smile, "yeah, see ya."

his friends and coach have already left the pool, it's just him alone. he is still hasn't changed yet, he's still on his jammers and a jacket to cover his body. he took out his phone from his bag then played with it to kill the time. after awhile he looked at the time and it says 3:01pm

he was about to text seungmin, when someone whispered, "psst! hey!" hyunjin looked at the door and saw seungmin. he then beckoned seungmin to come in, "come in, what are you doing there?"

seungmin shook his head, "uh no thanks. so can you give my album now?" he asked. hyunjin rolled his eyes and took the album from his bag, "here, you want it, come here and get it yourself. im not gonna go there, it's cold you know?"

"then go change or something!"

"too lazy, i'll do it later. seungmin, just come in!" hyunjin whined. seungmin groaned then walked in, "damn it i do this only for the album." he mumbled. he walked closer to hyunjin and stuck out his hand, "give me."

hyunjin was about to give him the album but stopped himself and stood up, "not until you answer me, why do you hate me so much? did i ever do something to you? just why do you hate me so much?" he bombarded.

seungmin groaned and tried to take the album, but hyunjin was quick to dodge it, "just tell me. it's not that hard to answer."

"ugh! because you're narcissistic and annoying! now give me- ahh!" seungmin tried to take the album but he almost fell into the pool due to the slippery floor. hyunjin quickly grabbed his bag, but it slid down his arms instead, making seungmin fell down the pool and his backpack was on hyunjin's grasp.

"oops?" said hyunjin. he then put all the things on the bench and jumped in, he swam deeper and saw a blueish green tail. his eyes widen as he saw a big tail that is not belonged to a fish at all. the tail is really pretty, what's more shocking to hyunjin is the tail belonged to seungmin. and his hair, seungmin's hair that is originally brown is now pinkish purple. without him knowing, his heart beats faster.

seungmin worriedly looked at hyunjin, who looked so shocked and pale. seungmin's tears slowly flowing down his eyes. his tears were glowing and is visible to eyes of anyone. it's a merman's/mermaid's tears. their tears will glow whenever they cry.

seungmin then turned around from hyunjin, embarrassed to face him in this condition. hyunjin swam closer to him and tapped his shoulder. seungmin shook his head, "go away." he said normally and it shocked hyunjin more, "he can talk underwater?!" he thought.

mermaids or mermen voice will echo to human's ears(only when they're underwater), but not to themselves(they'll hear like a normal voice.) hyunjin then once again tapped seungmin's shoulder. seungmin wiped his tears and looked at him, "what..?"

hyunjin grabbed his hand and brought him up to the surface of the pool.

"seungmin what the fuck?"
