Alice explained her situation to Kuma, how she had a new neighbor that happens to be the schools newest rising idol, and how he was trying to befriend her.
Kuma looked down at her a grumpy look was on his face, "Mao, how long are you going to keep acting like that? You know you can't just block everyone out." She opened her mouth in protest "Before you even say it, this is aside from Chie and me." Slightly pouting she looked away, "I don't need anymore friends, besides you know that I don't even plan to stay here after high school.'
Sighing, "yeah but you should at least try to have a normal high school life." The sound of disapproving in his voice, "me and Chie don't like that you're basically alone all day." 'And night,' Alice thought silently, she hadn't told the two about certain parts of her home life and didn't plan to.
"Look I'm not saying you should become miss outgoing all of a sudden, but at least try to make one friend that way you can talk to someone when me and Chie aren't around." Knowing she wouldn't convince Kuma on her side she agreed, "fine, but I'm not going to change anything else. Just one new friend, nothing more."
Kuma smiled, he honestly thought she'd never agree, "But you're paying every time we go out now." He let out a loud groan, "aw come one."
Alice refocused on shooting, 'just one friend.' Drawing her bow with a new arrow, 'nothing should change all that much as long as I as I keep their focus on simple school things.' She took a deep breath as she aimed, 'and keep them from asking too many questions about me.' Releasing the arrow it stuck just outside of a bullseye, 'damn so close.'
