Today is the anniversary of my parents being gone for a month now. Isn't it strange how you can have something then it's gone the next day. It's pretty funny how that works actually.
It's strange how I had my parents before they went to that party that evening then when I woke up the next morning they where gone, forever.
I remember it like it was yesterday. I woke up and got a call from the hospital. They said my parents where in a bad accident while drunk. I never thought my parents drunk anything but this was pretty typical. Them going when I needed them the most.
I mean ya I missed them. But you got used to it like I got used to not having my eyes.
You see Augustus, Hazel, and I, we all have cancer. Unfortunately Augustus lost that battle. So it was just Hazel and I. I guess the baby to. I wish Gus was still here.
