Ok sorry I was supposed to post on Friday but my last day of vacation was yesterday and I was trying to enjoy it. I'm sorry for not posting yesterday like I promised 🥺
Sams POV
I woke up next to my baby boy and he was still sleeping. He was so adorable and I loved him so much.
Then I rubbed my hand across his arm to try and wake him up. When I did that he felt hot. Like burning up.
S- baby it's time to wake up honey
C- uhhhhm oki daddy
S- honey are you feeling ok you feel a bit hot
I said as I felt his forehead
C- me don't feel well dada
S- yeah your burning up honey
I picked up Colby and went to the bathroom. I put him in the bath and ran the hot water. I also got a cold cloth for his head.
I ran it under cold water and then folded the cloth.
S- baby can you lay your head back for me please.
C- oki daddy
Then I gently placed the cloth across his forehead.
C- dada that's cold
S- I know baby but I'll help
I got in the bath with him. I got behind him holding the cloth to his forehead.
S- you okay my baby
C- I don't feel good dada. I feel dizzy
S- just close your eyes for me okay. It'll pass soon
Colby closed his eyes and I pressed the cloth to his forehead hoping it'll relieve some of the pain.
Then I had to get it colder because it had gotten warm.
I got out for a moment and got the washcloth colder and went back in and I put my hand up to his forehead to see if he's still hot.
He was still burning up.
S- baby your still burning up
C- I'm cold dada
S- here I'm going to put this washcloth over your forehead and it's really cold so I'm warring you baby
C- oki daddy
Then I pressed the washcloth to his forehead.
The next day
Colby was still not doing well. He was throwing up and burning up.
I was doing my very best to keep my baby healthy.
I had to leave to go get him some medicine.
Then when I got back I rushed upstairs and what I saw was horrible.
Colby was....
