Fifteen: Free Fallin'

Chapter 15: Fantasy

Preston, Tyler and Gracia had all decided to meet up for a late lunch with Stefan at the campus café. As they waited for Stefan to join them Preston's phone rang nonstop with text message chime after text message chime.

"Man, you are blowing up!" Gracia exclaimed. "Give me some of that good juju!" She had been feeling down ever since that failed kiss with Sophia Kate and was in need of a new girl to take her woes away. Preston's phone chimed again. "Seriously, bro, I hope you're as focused and dedicated with school as you are with getting girls' numbers." Tyler warned before waving Stefan down.

If only y'all knew who was blowing me up. Preston thought as he looked at another text message from Elsa. Ever since their encounter, the two have been texting back and forth nonstop. Well except for when they were in class or with the group altogether. Preston still felt she was high strung, but she was definitely growing on him.

He loved the way her lips tasted and the way her body felt under his had him in the shower minutes longer than needed. "Earth to Preston," Stefan snapped laughing. "Oh shit, what happened?" Preston was so out of it and everyone was aware.

"Who is this girl or girls that have you so off balance today?" Gracia asked putting ketchup on her fries. "No one important. Besides, the question needs to be what did you and Aria get into while y'all were away." Preston asked pointing a fry at Stefan.

Stefan began to blush as he looked down at his burger. "Nothing happened between us. We just had a great time at the concerts." Preston sucked his teeth. "I call bullshit. You two fools came back glowing and I know that look and glow. That's the 'I just had coitus' glow." Gracia laughed loudly, while Tyler shook his head.

"Coitus? Really?" Gracia cackled some more. "There was no coitus," Stefan interjected. "We did not have sexual intercourse." Preston pointed at him. "Ah hah! So, you didn't have intercourse, but sexual relations were had were they not?"

Preston could be a lawyer in the way he went after details and information. "I don't think it's appropriate talking about my sex life with you guys." Stefan blushed some more taking a bite of his burger. "We're all fam here, Steffie boy. So, what happened between you two?" Gracia asked. Stefan knew why Gracia wanted to know and it was the only reason he provided an answer.

"We just made out a lot, some dry humping and she gave me head." Stefan said before taking a sip of his Coke. "My man!" Preston high fived him, while Tyler shook his head disappointedly and ate a fry. Gracia was trying hard to play along with Preston, but Stefan could see the sadness in her eyes and he knew she was going to run and tell Caleb. Good. He thought with a smile.

Sophia Kate stretched in one of the dance rooms with a few other dancers sprinkled around as they prepared for class to begin. Aria hurried in and plopped down beside her with a sigh. "What's wrong?" Sophia Kate asked looking at her best friend. Aria began to stretch into a middle split as she looked at Sophia Kate and ran through her morning.

"You were harsh to him, but he deserved it." Aria nodded her head in agreement. "I can't believe this, SK. He ends things the way he did and then goes weeks without talking to me, but the moment he touches me and looks at me with those baby blues I'm putty all over again." Aria leaned into her middle split and placed her head in her hands.

"You know I wasn't a fan of how he left things, but we both decided that there was more to the story. He is clearly afraid of having feelings for you and that's something you need to sus out." Aria sighed. "He had a one-night stand, Sophia Kate. He clearly doesn't care about me." Sophia Kate hated the amount of times Caleb was messing up, but she just knew deep down that he was the guy for Aria.
