I was just sitting and the idea came to me.
I've seen in movies and in life were black are treated as if they are worst than trash(especially women).
As a black young lady I'm wondering what my future is going to be like.
Am I going to experience the same ill treatment as those other black people?
Will my siblings experience it.
I haven't experienced anything that bad. I'm still in highschool so I don't know what will happen in the future. But I hope that by the time I get to the stage where I am to start my life society will change.
The most I've been through is people saying is:
That black girl is ugly
Because your black you won't be anything in life.
If I'm being honest I don't really care what people say about me personally it's my younger siblings and other black/brown children that I'm worried about.
I'm not not just writing this book for fun. I'm merely writing this book to bring awareness of the things most black people (women) endure in their daily life.
