that first ride

As Alex tacked California crime up I noticed that California crime wasn't paying any attention to Alex but was focused on me. Finally after five minutes we walked outside and I mounted California crime. As soon as I got on her California crime goes from not caring about what is going on around her to ready to run like the wind. As we walk over to the track California crime is thrashing her tail as she throws her head up and tries to take off. Alex can barely control her. Luckily for him we reach the track just in time as California crime rears up and pulls the lead rope out of alex's hand before dropping down. See that California crime is ready to start her trainer gives me the go ahead as alex steps forward and uncilps the lead with California crime watching his every move and is giving him this if you dare try anything but uncilp it you will be sorry.  Finally after alex clears the track i cluck to California crime urging her to walk. To my pleasure and probably to her groom's alex and her trainer surprise California crime starts to walk and almost immediately she gets into a steady smooth walk. After a bit and a nod from her already very surprised trainer I cluck to her again and this time to the surprise of myself and again to the the surprise of her already surprised groom and trainer I don't have to urge her because before I even get the chance California crime has already set into a steady and unusually smooth trot for a thoroughbred. After we trot for a better and another nod from her already surprised trainer I cluck to her once more and once more to the surprise of all three of us California crime goes into a steady smooth ground covering canter before I have the chance to urge her. After we canter for a bit and a nod from her trainer who is sill surprised I chirp to California crime and once more she surprises all of us by moving into a steady smooth ground covering gallop before I get the chance to urge her. Finally after what seems to me like way to soon her trainer nods at me to give me the go ahead to start slowing California crime down. I cluck to California crime and she moves into a canter there a trot before moving into a walk and finally she stops. Alex runs over and clips the lead rope back on and look up at me and says wow amazing job I never thought I would see California crime run for anyone she uselly just throws them off after they move her into a trot and your the first person she hasn't done that do much less run for. Thanks alex I tell him as he leads up over to her trainer and I dismount a California crime that looks like she could sill do that a thousand times over again and sill be able to do it again. As soon as I get off she goes back to not caring about anything around.
