Cornered

Timing

-Nine-

Joong and I had gone to the hospital with Kat and now Joong sat with Lay on the couch while the two talked and Kats head rested on the bed, her hand still holding onto Saints tightly. I had never seen her this way and I was glad to see this side of her but it hurt me still because she was in pain too. Joong got up and back hugged me then kissed the top of my head. I softly touched his hands and closed my eyes. Sure Saint had been a dick but I remembered one time Kat telling me she had all the time in the world but Saint wasn't sure if he had the time left to chase her for that long. Thinking about it now I know he probably meant this. Joong leaned down to my ear so he could whisper to me.

Joong: "Let's go get some food for everyone. I know the two of us haven't eaten today and I doubt Kat or Lay have either."

I nodded and looked at a sleeping Kat, her eyes were closed in such a gentle manner, eyelashes rested peacefully on her cheekbones. Lay looked up at us as I got up and met my eyes.

Nine: "What do you want to eat? We're going to to get some food."

He shrugged and looked back down so Joong and I just left. We'd get him and Kat something to eat anyway. We went to a nearby place and got some Thai style fried rice, shrimp spicy noodles, and chicken curry. Also some water bottles for every one. As we got back into the room Kat was passed out still and Lay had his head resting on his fist fast asleep so we placed the food on the side table and I sat on the floor in the corner and Joong now stooped in front of me to hold my hands.

Joong: "Hey lovely. I know you're worried about Kat right now but you don't need too. She can handle herself."

Lay woke up when a knock sounded on the door then got up to opened it. A slightly younger boy came in and looked at Kat, then us two.

Lay: "Long story. One that can be saved for later. The girl is Kat, she's the one Saints chasing and those two are Nine and Joong. Friends."

The boy nodded as Joong helped me up, placing a hand on my hips as I stabled myself and even then he still held on while standing on the other side.

Lay: "Blondie is Nine. Tall one is Joong. Guys this is Perth, an old friend from the other modeling company and a good friend of Saint and I."

I nodded and looked him up and down. He was dressed well but didn't seem to care much about being touched and he didn't seem relaxed. So he didn't like new people too much. He also didn't seem to care about what Lay was saying. He met my eyes and I held his stare.

The monitor started to rapidly beep until it flat lined and Kat woke up. She yelled as she tried to shake him but the doctors ran in making us leave. We all had to pull Kat out who was starting to cry and scream. In grabbed her waist softly and didn't care she was fighting us all.

Kat: "Saint! Don't you dare die you idiot!"

She was fighting harder as we tried to get her back.

Kat: "Let me go! Saint wake up! You can't die just when I find out I'm in love with you! You can't do this to me!"

I personally felt shock she confessed but what shocked everyone and made us let her go was that when she confessed the monitor started beeping again. We all sat down to wait until they told us he was stable again and if he would remain that way. While we sat waiting that whore from before, Fai? Came. She glared at Kat who met my eyes so I lightly stepped back and Joong followed. It wasn't even a second later she threw a strong upper cut knocking the girl back then  swepted her legs from under her maker her fall backwards as Kat slammed her first into her stomach for more force. Lay went to stop her but stopped when the boy Perth grabbed his arm and shook his head no. They looked pretty good together. Joong pulled me out of Kats way as the girl ran at her and she had to step to the side and twisting her arm behind her back, forcing her to lean forward as Kat spoke.

Kat: "You pissed the wrong person off. You're going to leave Saint alone and you're not ever going to mess with me again or I can't promise you'll make it out unharmed because i will show you the meaning of hell and hell on earth."

She let the girl go and she looked petrified. When she ran out the doctors told us he was stable so we went back in. Us five started finally eating the food we had brought and had to heat it up but at least we were eaten something. Well all looked over as we heard him speak.

Saint: "You all came to visit little old me? How sweet."

Kats smile was from ear to ear as she rushed over and hugged him, careful not to hurt him. She didn't seem to care if her position leaning over the bed was comfortable. I smiled and barely heard the two.

Kat: "Don't scare me like that again or I won't ever forgive you."

After what she admitted earlier I doubted she really meant that but she was acting tough.

Saint: "You let me get the surgery Lay. I told you last time I didn't want it-"

Perth finally spoke up and Lay smiled at him.

Perth: "He had to Saint. You see, he wasn't going to let his older brother die and I doubt he wants to feel the wrath of your girlfriend here.  Also after I seen what she did to Fai, I don't think he wants to play around with her."

Saint looked at Kat as she sat down in the chair next to his bed. Stress could kill him right? So why mention his ex that Kat beat the fuck out of.

Saint: "Fai was here? I, Shit. I still have to explain things to her. She doesn't know anything since she left."

Kat touched his hand and made him smile. She was obviously worried about him but he seemed to reassure her a his smile.

Saint: "I'll be okay. All of you should go. Don't you all have work today? Plus Perth is here. He can be my slave."

Perth looked up and pointed to himself but sighed and nodded. He convinced everyone but Kat to leave and he seemed okay with it. I have never seen her this way before so I was trusting him with her heart.
