Jeongin's POV

I am inside our room waiting for Areum to wake up while Jinah went to work. She said it's an important day and they need her there.

calling Jinah....

[Hey, is Areum still sleeping?]

"Yes, she's still sleeping"

[Really? It's already lunch. I think you should wake her up]

"I'll wake her later but can I ask you something?"

[Sure. What is it?]

"Can we go on a date after work?"

[Hahahaha, how about Areum?]

"Then, I'll leave him to Eunji, Chan, Minkyu, or Seungmin except for Hyunjin"

[Why except him?]

"I just don't want him when it comes to Areum" 

[Don't you think you are being too biased, bae?]

"I just hate. So, are we going on a date?" 

[Can I say no?]

"You can't"

[How rude of you Mr. Yang, but fine hahaha. Let's go on a date after work]

"Okay, I'll wait for you" 

[Yep! I need to go! I love you so much! Mwa!]

"Take care! I love you more" I smiled as I ended the call

I carried Areum carefully and went downstairs. She's so heavy even though she's still a child. I put her on the couch slowly, trying not to wake her up but she suddenly flinched that made me stop moving. There, she slowly opened her eyes but she's still sleepy. 

"Goodmorning, sweetheart" 

"Dada" she whispered and gave me a hug 

"You should wake up and let's wash your face" 

She nodded and let me carry her to the bathroom. I carefully washed her face and brushed her teeth. After doing her morning routines, she hugged me tight and I carried her to the living room when I heard the doorbell rang. I opened the door and saw Hyunjin. 

"Is Areum crying?" Hyunjin asked

"Uncle!" Areum lively shouted and smiled at Hyunjin

"Hi! Long time no see!" Hyunjin smiled and carried Areum in his arms "You look beautiful! I have a gift for you!" he said and showed Areum the paper bag he bought and inside it is a gift with a pink wrapper which is Areum's favorite color "Let's open it" he put Areum down and helped her open the gift

"Areum, you should eat after that" 

She excitedly nodded and smiled at me. She continued to open the gift together with Hyunjin. I never want Hyunjin to meet Areum but why is he here? I'm not even planning to leave Areum to him. I went to the kitchen and started to heat Areum's food that Jinah prepared before she go to work earlier. I crossed my arm as I felt annoyed seeing Hyunjin here. I felt my phone's vibration. 

Chan calling...

[Jeongin? Are you at home?]

"Yes, why? What's the matter?"

[I'm near your house. I was thinking that I should pay a visit to Areum]

"Yeah, sure. Also, Hyunjin is here. He just got here" 

[Great. I've been wanting to talk to him]

"About what?"

[I think he misunderstood the situation between me and Eunji. I want to explain to him and also I want to ask for some help]

"Okay, make it fast. I hate his presence around my daughter" 

[Alright]

"Faster" I commanded and ended the call. I quickly put Areum's lunch and mixed it in her lunch box, I went to the living room and saw her playing with the doll house "Areum, you should eat" 

She nodded and ran to me. I put the lunch box on the table and she started eating all by herself, slowly and cleanly. The doorbell rang, I quickly opened it and saw Chan. He entered and sat on the couch. 

"Ya, you might understood what happened to me and to Eunji" Chan

"I already knew why. She told me and she even defended you. You are my friend and Eunji is like a little sister to me. But I still want to hear both of your sides. She told me that she saw you in a bar with your employees while a girl is dancing in front of you. She blamed herself for that. I understand that you got tired because of her attitude towards you but don't you think you that's too much? You should've not got tired and showed her that you will support her 'till the end? It's hard to lose a child that you two are expecting. She blamed herself for what happened because she thought she disappointed you. Yes, I got mad at first when I heard about what happened but I still need to hear your explanations. You can't blame me, Eunji is like a real sister to me" Hyunjin said

"I know. That's why I'm regretting everything that happened. I want my wife back and I need all of your help. I don't know if we are fine but I think we are" Chan

"How can you say that so easily? You' are not even sure" 

"Remember? I invited her to go to my grandma's birthday since my family es expecting us to be there and I doesn't know anything about what happened. She said yes and I even gave her flowers. She acted normal like she's never affected of what happened a year ago. I asked if we can talk she said yes, but after we didn't had the chance to talk. She fell asleep while we are on our way to my grandma's house, we arrived there and we are both busy due to those people who kept talking to us, then we got drunk and on our way home she fell asleep again" Chan explained and sighed

"You should grab it when you have the chance. Anyways, I think she will be really busy this week since I told her to rest for one or two months from work. I guess talk to her after this week" Hyunjin

"Hwang Hyunjin, how about you stay away from my daughter and go home? I hate your presence around my daughter you dumbass" 

"You can't stop me" Hyunjin rolled his eyes

This is so annoying.
