Chapter 59: Peace Again? How Boring!

Rias blinked as the blinding light began to subside from her eyes.

"What happened?" Ruby asked, rubbing her eyes.

Slowly their vision began to clear and was greeted by the sight of...

"W-what happened!?" Weiss asked in shock as she looked at the army in front of her, or what's left of it.

Gone were the almost unending wave of their enemies. In front of them is an army of thousand or probably less, which Weiss roughly estimated.

"Where did the massive army go?" Pyrrha asked the question running on everyone's mind, as they were all curious as well, when almost entirely of the massive army they were fighting, disappeared without a trace.

"Red got rid of them." Everyone turned to Rimuru as she surveyed the battlefield in front of her.

'Thank goodness we still got our objective, even though we had to skip several steps because of that stupid nuke.' Rimuru thought as she noted that some of the soldiers are starting to falter.

"What? What do you mean he 'got rid of them'?" Weiss asked, making Cinder, Pyrrha and Neo shift uncomfortably, as the trio were the first few to process Rimuru's words.

"Incredible... to think that Mr. L/n is capable of a feat such as this." Cinder whispered in awe as she along with the Otaku club looked the state of the devastated army.

"And to think we received training from him." Pyrrha said with Neo nodding next to her.

"Makes you curious at how strong you could become in the future when that man has a hand in training you." Raven said as she walked towards her three students.

"Yeah..." Rias said while looking over the distraught soldiers, overhearing the quartet's conversation.

The world around them then glowed in a faint light before everything around them stared dissolving into particles of light, bringing them back to the Special Region's night skies.

"So I guess we're at the last and important part of our objective." Emi said as she and Tohru flew back towards the Otaku Club to regroup.

Reaching Rias and the others, Emi immediately spotted Rias having a one-sided glaring contest with Artoria as the latter stepped out of a swirling portal, wearing a smile so bright that it's starting to annoy Emi, which completely has nothing to do with the former happily hugging Y/n's arm close to herself.

"That place felt... very off for some reason." Kaguya muttered as she stepped out of the portal.

"It felt weird like you're just there... and everything that you see in there felt like it didn't exist." Hayasaka said in agreement as she stepped out of the portal after Kaguya.

"That's just how the artificial dimension of Kamui feels, girls." Y/n said to them before looking down at the girl hugging his arm. "Ano... You can let go now..."

'Dontleavedontleave' He mentally chanted, enjoying the soft pillows that are currently hugging his arm.

He mentally cheered when he felt a similar sensation on his other arm, revealing Rias who is now snuggling on his shoulder.

"Awww." Tohru pouted before going for the next best option.

But before Tohru was able to jump and hug Y/n from behind, she was beaten to the punch by...

"Shut up and look straight forward," Emi said with a massive blush on her face.

'What am I doing?' Emi asked herself, feeling embarrassed at her public display of affection. She was about to adjust the placement of her arms around Y/n's neck to allow herself to hide her cherry-red face from everyone when she suddenly felt something soft behind her.
