Chapter 62: Altering Reality

Ruby's eyebrow twitched as she watched the unknown girl dance around the Hollow-possessed Stray Devil.

In all honesty, She's not annoyed at the unknown girl's ability to dance around their opponent, but it's about.

"Don't call me chibi!" She yelled in annoyance as she jumped back into the fray.

"Then, don't call me 'chunni girl'!" The unknown girl grunted, using the flat side of her sword to block a punch from the Stray, sending her skidding back a few meters away.

Seeing that the Stray is still recovering from her punch, Ruby flung Yang towards the possessed Stray using her scythe. Weiss then summoned an acceleration glyph in front of Yang, boosting her speed and giving their opponent less time to react, allowing Yang to connect a solid haymaker on the possessed Stray's cheek, sending her flying several feet away before landing roughly on her back and out cold.

'Come on get up, so I can see if that one didn't crap to you.' Yang thought, feeling a bit satisfied with her solid hit.

"Did we get her?" Ruby asked before yelping after being lightly shocked by Rias.

"Don't jinx it!" Rias hissed at her while keeping her focus on the downed Stray as black smoke began to seep out of her body.

The smoke then slowly formed into a large hunched figure over twelve feet with smooth bony plates covering its body. Ruby felt a shiver run down her spine when she looked at the two forward-facing wide-open eyes staring back at her. It didn't help that the bony mask of the creature made it look like it's grinning from ear to ear, further enhancing the creepy look on its face.

"Well, that doesn't look creepy at all..." Yang sarcastically remarked as she stared back at the creepy creature that is staring at her.

Unbeknownst to her, everyone is experiencing the same thing, subconsciously putting them on edge.

"What are you all gawking at!? The Hollow is finally out, so let's beat it up!" The unknown girl shouted as she jumped behind the Hollow and swung her sword diagonally across its back.

Rias and the others were knocked off from their staring when the Hollow let out a pained howl.

"What was that?" Weiss wondered to herself, feeling some sort of pull when she saw the Hollow.

"Everyone, let's take down this Hollow." Rias said as she and Akeno flew towards the Hollow with magic in their hands ready to be fired.

Weiss put her thoughts aside for now and followed.

"Ruby, move Brunea's body away from the Hollow. We don't want that Hollow repossessing her body again." Rias commanded as she fired off multiple shots of her Power of Destruction.

"Yang, Blake, cover Ruby while she secures Brunea we don't know if that Hollow could possess her so provide back-up. While Schnee-san assists Shinigami-san on taking down the Hollow." Rias said, nailing the Hollow in the face by one of her well-placed shots.

""Got it!"" Yang and Blake said as they followed behind Ruby, while firing off fireballs and senjutsu enhanced bullets at the Hollow.

Slowly by surely, the Hollow was moved away from Brunea's unconscious body by being knocked back several times by Rias' and Akeno's magical attacks, while also suffering multiple cuts from the combined efforts of Weiss and the unknown girl putting pressure on the Hollow at close range.

This allowed Ruby to safely recover Brunea and bring her to Summer and Raven's location, on the roof of a nearby building.

Yang and Blake split away from her to join the others in taking down the Hollow.
