Peter's spider-sense starts tingling, and he starts rapidly packing his stuff into his bag. Then, the alarm starts going off, and he jumps to his feet. Everyone quickly packs their stuff away, while Peter, and a few others, were racing towards the door.

Peter sprints to his locker, throwing his unnecessary items inside, then slamming it shut. He sprints out of the school, with many others trailing behind him. The brunet then rushes through the streets and towards the alleyway that he uses to get changed into his suit.

The reason that he used a certain alley was because he had used some tech- that Ned had developed for him- that shielded him from view of anyone on the streets, or anyone trying to find out his identity.

Once he was in his Spider-Man outfit, he scaled the alley's wall, onto the roof. He looks out across the streets of Queens, and he smiles, seeing the people he swore to protect, no matter what.

"You're early today, Peter," came Karen's voice, causing Peter's smile to widen. "What's the occasion?"

"No occasion," Peter replies, jumping off the roof and catching with a web. "Just wanted to come out early today."

"Of course you did," Karen sassily mutters.

Peter uses his free hand to hold his chest in mock betrayal, and he says, "I can't believe you sassed me! My own daughter of creation! Your pops would be very disappointed in you, young lady!"

"Jeeze, Peter. You really need to make more friends," came the sarcastic reply of Spider-Man's man in the chair.

"Wow, thank you, Ned," Peter says, with a deadpan look on his face. "That was great advice, especially from my only friend. So inspirational."

Peter hears laughter over the comms link, and then a muffled, "Idiot."

Peter fondly rolls his eyes at his friend and he asks, "Anything for me, Chair, Karen?"

"Nothing through the police scanners yet," the Filipino replies.

Karen then speaks up saying, "There seems to be a mugging in the alley beside you, Peter."

"Thanks, Karen!" Peter calls, swinging down to the alleyway that Karen had highlighted on the screen in front of his eyes.

After dealing with the mugging, Peter took care of three others, along with a rape attempt, a small robbery, a cat stuck in a tree and a lost child. Peter was about to go to a rooftop to rest for a while, when Peter hears muffled talking through his comms.

"What's going on, Ned?" Peter asks, unsure if it was a job or if it was something else.

"Just picked something up on the police scanner," Ned replies, with clicking and typing being heard in the background. "There's a bank robbery two miles ahead of you. I'll send Karen the coordinates to give to you."

"Thanks, Ned. Keep me posted," Peter says, as he starts swinging towards the bank.

Halfway there, Ned comes back over the scanner, announcing, "Shots have been fired. Hurry, Pete."

"I'm going in!" Peter exclaims, swinging down and through the open back door.

That's strange... Peter thinks, briefly looking back at the open door before he started running towards the main room. Once the spiderling entered, he saw why the door had been opened. The 'Rogues' were here, helping the civilians.

The brunet then hears a scream from one of the hostages. They were pointing to behind the group, where there was a criminal pointing a gun at a shieldless  Steve Rogers.

Peter jumps into action, swinging towards the Rogues, and using his momentum to knock Steve out of the way. The bullet missed it's target, but instead lodged itself into his abdominal. He hisses him pain, but decides to ignore it for now, and instead deal with the criminal.

He punches the guy- only hard enough to knock them out- and then uses his webs to tie him to the wall. He then ties up the others, just in case anyone else woke up.

Peter then puts pressure on his bullet wound and he questions, "Karen, anyone else?"

"No. They're all unconscious, Dad," Karen replies, giving a sarcastic remark at the end.

"Seriously? Now?" Peter sighs. "Whatever, I gotta help the victims. Tell Chair to call be back after."

"Will do," Karen replies. "Dad."

Peter shakes his head, then turns around and tells the hostages, "The police are outside. Go out and explain the situation, except keep out these guys, okay? It was just me who helped."

The hostages nod, and all rush out, giving thanks to their neighbourhood vigilante. Peter smiles and reassures them, telling them to keep safe.

"Why did you do that?" a voice asks from the left of him.

Peter turns to look at the Rogues, and shrugs. "It's the right thing to do," Peter replies, a smile on his lips, although he knew they couldn't see it. "Plus, when people are in the same situation, shouldn't they help one another through it?" Peter then starts walking out- towards the back door- but when he didn't hear footsteps following behind him, he looks back. He says, "Well aren't you going to come then?"

Everyone looks at Steve in conformation, who sighs and starts walking after Spider-Man, the others following after him. The teen grins at this and continues walking towards the back door, trying to ignore his abdominal that was now bleeding a lot.

When they arrive at the door, Peter peaks his head out, and looks around for people. He decides it was clear, and started quickly rushing out, with the Rogues following after him.

Peter calls out to his friend, "Chair, do you copy?"

"Chair's here. What can I do for you, Spidey?" Ned answers, using their code names, as they had planned for a situation much like this.

"Where's a safe hiding place to hide about...." Peter starts, looking back and quickly counting everyone, then looking back to where he was going. "About seven or eight people."

"Yeah, I'll look it up now," Chair replies, and then he hears clicking of keys in the background. After a minute, he hears a sound of success from Ned and announces, "Two streets across, an abandoned building that has enough rooms for each of you."

"Thanks, Chair," Peter says, getting the location from Karen on the screen. By now, the spiderling was feeling slightly light headed, but he- once again- ignored it.

Ned chuckles and says, "Yeah, yeah. You can make it up to me tomorrow."

"Will do. See you tomorrow," Peter replies. Then he hears the click of the communicator turning off.

After a few minutes extra walk- down a very conveniently quiet and secluded street- they arrive at the building. He walks in and gets to the living room, and he turns around to the Rogues.

"Welcome to your new home," the teen says, gesturing to the building. After a second beat of silence, and Peter having a very hard time to keep standing- due to blood loss- he says, "Yup, definitely gotta lie down now."

And with that, the spider themed hero face planted onto a severely destroyed sofa, instantly blacking out.
