Stay (COMPLETED)

Part 5 (after season 5)

The best friend squad was almost ready to go bring magic back to the universe. Etheria had started rebuilding already and Scorpia had her kingdom back. Entrapta had begged Glimmer to let Hordak stay, which she agreed to, as long as he would never leave his room and would be guarded 24/7. Perfuma had decided to stay in Scorpia's kingdom to help rebuild, which was fun, for Scorpia. Mermista let Seahawk stay in Salineas, since she didn't think he was that annoying anymore. And Frosta, was just Frosta. Catra and Adora had become visibly closer, due to the events that occurred in the Heart of Etheria. Glimmer and Bow had no idea what had happened, because Adora had no idea how to tell them. And Catra didn't want to.

"It's none of their business!" She yells

"But their my friends! They're our friends!" Adora yells back

"Yeah, so?! We don't have to tell them everything!!" Catra yells

"Catra seriously!"

"Uhhhhhhhh, sorry to interrupt, but Glimmer wants to see all of us in the war room" Bow says 

"We'll be there soon" Adora replied hinting for him to leave. Bow gets the message and walks out slowly.

"We can continue this later" Adora said to Catra once Bow had left the room.

"Whatever"

"Not much has happened recently, other than rebuilding. But Entrapta spotted something weird in the Whispering Woods, right Entrapta?" Glimmer says pointing to Entrapta.

"Right!" She said changing the screen "There was a strange energy surge in the woods yesterday, which could only mean one thing!"

"And that is? "Mermista says annoyedly, with Seahawk sitting on the armrest of her chair.

"A portal! Another portal has been opened! We need to find whoever came out of it as soon as possible" Entrapta replies. Then the general of the guard walks in.

"Someone has been found exactly where you said the portal was, Princess Entrapta. We have put her in the spare room."

"We will be there shortly" Glimmer says switching off the screen.

When Glimmer, Bow and Adora walked in to the interrogation room, they saw a young girl.

"What's your name?" Glimmer asked reaching for her shoulder. The girl hissed and backed away, her cat ears perk up.

"It's okay, we promise we won't hurt you" Adora says walking towards her.

"Cataline" She whispers.

"Nice to meet you Cataline" Adora smiles "Now what are you doing here?"

"I'm here to retrieve someone, that's all" She replies and Glimmer pulls Adora and Bow away

"She looks a lot like--"

"Catra, I know" Adora replies and the girls ears perk up.

"You know Catra?!" She asked

"Yeah, why?" Glimmer asked.

"Bring her to me!" Cataline screeched, her nails extending

"Okay, okay, I'll bring her in" Adora says and walks out to their room

"Catra?" She says as she enters the room.

"Catra, there's someone here to see you." She says sitting on their bed. "I know you're in here" Then she came out of a closet and walked to the interrogation room, without saying anything. Adora chased after her and said

"Catra, before you go in there you have to--"

"I have to? Again with what we have to do, huh?!" Catra replies

"Catra, this is serious! The girl we found is only 13! Take it easy when you meet her, please" Adora says catching up to Catra.

"Fine, whatever."

When Catra walked in, Cataline bowed, and Catra jumped in shock.

"Is this a joke?"

"No, your highness" Cataline said standing up.

"Wait, your highness?" Adora says confused.

"Oh, exactly what I thought. Sit down let me explain" Cataline replies and sits down.

"Okay, this is weird. I'm starving, so I'm out. You can tell Adora though."" Catra says sarcastically and walks out.

"You and Catra, I thought you weren't friend anymore?" Cataline asks

"Well... Wait, how do you know that?" Adora asks

"Right! That's what I'm here to explain!" She replies.

"Catra isn't from Etheria. She also went through a portal, like you! On our planet, everyone is connected! We can all see each other!" She started

"Like a hivemind" Adora interrupted

"Exactly! But one day, someone came through a portal and killed someone very, and stole her child. Because the child was the only one who witnessed it. We call her The Portal Witch" Cataline says

"What does this portal witch look like?" Adora asks

"She had long flowing black hair, a red mask covering her face and a long robe." She replied and Adora gasps in shock.

"Shadow Weaver"

"Catra!" Adora yells, running through the castle crying.

"Adora, what's wrong?" Catra comes out of the kitchen

"I'm so sorry! Shadow Weaver! This is all Shadow Weaver fault!" Adora cries into Catra's shoulder.

"Adora, you're not making sense!" Catra says sitting down, with Adora beside her.

"Shadow Weaver, she stole you. When you were a baby. She-she stole you and killed your mother. You're not from here, Catra." Adora says "And it's all Shadow weavers fault!" She punches the wall, not in anger, but in sadness.

"What?!" Catra says holding Adora's hands,  making sure they're okay.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry for forcing you! I'm sorry for not listening you! I'm so so sor--"

"Adora stop!" Catra yells "This isn't your fault! And I get it, I get why you wanna tell them. But you don't have to tell each other everything, Glimmer and Bow already know that."

"What do you keep talking about?" Adora asks 

"Bow and Glimmer are together!" Catra laughs "They have been for a while!"

"What?!" Adora stands up

"How did you find out?" She asks

"I was walking around and Bow's door was open, and I saw them. And I wish I didn't"  Catra laughs and stands up to give Adora a kiss.

"Do you wanna hear the rest of the story from Cataline?" Adora asks

"Sure, why not"
