I had my ear phones the whole time in the car. We then got to the bus stop where there were many buses. My mum drove a bit more and stopped. I put my phone in my back pocket and got out of the car.

My mum helped me with my bags. When I was done getting all my stuff from the car, I gave my mum a hug.

"You sure you'll be good," she asked with a concerned face......

"Sure mum. I'll do this for my studies, and you guys," I said and smiled.

"Ok honey. Call me when you get there," she said with tears slowly running down her face. "Mummy, I'll be fine," I said feeling bad that I would be leaving my mum and family.

The fact hit me so hard that I started to cry too. We cuddled for a few minutes then let go of each other. I cleaned my face and gave my mum one last goodbye.

"Bye mum," I said before leaving. "Bye honey," she said waving. I waved back and got my bags.

I got gloomy that I even forgot to check the bus I was going to use. I put my bags in the bus' trunk that was closest and got into the bus and went to the back seat.

I got out my phone and put on my earphones and listened to music as the bus continued to become full of people.

Suddenly, a girl came and sat next to me......
"Hi," she said smiling. I removed my earphones and replied. "Hey." "So, you excited for the camp," she said still smiling.

Honestly, I was a bit excited but for the time being, I was gloomy. "Yeah, but I'll miss home," I said and sighed. "Me too, but I also know we'll be good friends," she said extending her hand," I'm Gracie, you?" I extended my hand and said," Blaire. Nice to meet you." "You too," she said and left.

I put on my earphones and listened to music for sometime before I slowly drifted to sleep.
