The brown-haired trainer stepped out of the train station, exhaling, and then tensing up a bit at the people walking by, but also taking in the view of the sheep Pokémon rolling by. Jetstream growled at the Wooloo as if warning them not to get close, though they paid little attention. "Hey, leave 'em alone Jet," Harlan said, looking down at her Gabite. "they're not hurting anyone." She looked around, then down at her Rotom Phone.

Me- hey u at the station yet?

Hop- yeah im coming! just had to tell my mum u were here

Hop. They'd talked with this kid for a couple of months after they posted something about wanting to move to Galar. He had called her back, saying she could stay with him and that his mom would be fine with it as she could pay for a couple of days' stay. They both had FaceTimed many times to discuss when Harlan was coming.
She looked up from her phone and went over to read the sign by the train station. It read Wedgehurst Station. Again, Jet started growling, and Harlan turned around to see what the dragon was growling at and saw a purple-haired boy running towards them with Wooloo right behind him.
"Hey! You're Harlan, right? From Alola?" He asked, looking up at her with bright yellow eyes and after taking several long breaths. He stood straight up, scratching the back of his neck, a bit of blush dusting his cheeks.
He's kinda cute, Harlan thought with a small head tilt but snapped his head up once he felt blush on his face. "Uh, yeah. Nice to finally meet you, Hop. In-person I mean." She replied with a small smile, looking a bit confused at how he went from nearly exhausted to perfectly fine in a matter of seconds.
"Right back 'atcha mate! Welcome to Galar!" Hop declared.
