It's been a week since I got out of the hospital, and Jaden and I have gotten a lot closer since then. We were currently laying in his bed cuddling, and watching a movie. My head was laying on his chest, and he had his arms wrapped around me, and I smiled feeling him tracing shapes on my back. It felt so good being here in his arms. I felt so safe here like this with him.

I looked up at him, "Can we go get something to eat?"

He smiled and nodded, "Of course we can."

I smiled big like a little kid, "Yay!"

I got up and walked over to Jaden's closet and picked out one of his hoodies and slid it over my head.

I heard a whistle and looked back to see Jaden standing there, "Damn baby! You make anything look sexy."

I felt my cheeks instantly heat up and I giggled rolling my eyes, "Oh whatever loser."

He gasped dramatically, "Ouch I am hurt."

I giggled rolling my eyes again, and walked up to him wrapping my arms around his neck and looking up at him. He wrapped his arms around my waist, and we stood there for a minute just smiling and getting lost in each other's eyes. I could honestly stay like this forever with this boy.

I pulled away, and grabbed his hand, "C'mon let's go I'm hungry."

He laughed, following behind me as I pulled him downstairs, "Ok ok, I am coming."

We got in the car, and we vibed to some music.
Jaden was resting his hand on my thigh and rubbing circles on it. It was giving me butterflies. This boy drives me crazy in so many ways.

He looked over at me, "Where shall we go to eat?"

I smiled, "Chick-Fil-A obviously," I said in obvious tone.

He laughed, "I figured."

After we ate, we decided to go for a walk on the beach.

After I had gotten out of the car, I took off running with Jaden chasing after me.

He laughed, "Get back here Hall."

I laughed, "Nope, you gotta catch me first Hossler."

The next thing I knew I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around me and pick me up and throw me over their shoulder.

He laughed carrying me towards the water, "I got you now loser."

I hit his back playfully, and laughing, "Put me down! Put me down!"

He laughed, shaking his head, "Nope not going to happen."

I tried to wiggle out of his arms, but I failed, then I noticed he had carried me into the water, "Jaden, I swear to God. If you drop me in the water, then you get no more kisses."

He laughed, "You and I both know that you can't even go a full day without giving me any kisses."

I knew he was right, but I couldn't let him think he was right, "Oh yeah? Wanna bet?"

He laughed dropping me in the water, "Oops."

I decided to mess with him, so I acted like I got hurt, "Ow! Oh my God! My ankle!"

Jaden instantly started freaking out and rushed to help me up, "Oh my God! I'm so sorry E. I didn't mean to hurt-"

He was cut off by me pulling him down into the water with me.

I laughed, "Got you!"

He laughed, shaking his head, "I should have known you were just messing with me."

I nodded, "You really should have dummy."

He picked me up and I wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist, and hung on him like a sloth.

He laughed teasing me, "God you're so heavy."

I laughed and gasped dramatically, "Ouch that hurt Jae."

He laughed, "I'm kidding E."

The next thing I knew it started to rain. Jaden and I didn't care, as we were already wet. We stayed there in the water splashing each other and just messing around for what felt like hours. I never wanted this to end. I was finally happy again. I never wanted to lose Jaden. He is the one for me, and I have never been more sure of anything in my life.

We stood there in the pouring rain, his arms wrapped around my waist, and my arms wrapped around his neck. We were looking in each other's eyes, and then the next thing I knew we were kissing.

After we pulled away, he laughed, "I won."

I was confused at first, but then I remembered the bet, "You asshole."

He laughed and shrugged, "Gotta do what you gotta do baby."

I shook my head rolling my eyes, and playfully shoved him, "Whatever loser."

He smirked, "I'm pretty sure you are the loser here, not me babe."

I rolled my eyes, "Whatever you say Jae."

He looked down, and I could tell he was nervous, "There's something I want to ask you Ellie."

I waited for him to continue.

He looked up, and took my hands in his, "Will you be my girlfriend?"

I smiled big like a little kid, and nodded excitedly, "Yes! Of course I will!"

He let out a sigh of relief, "Oh thank God! I was so scared you were going to say no."

I looked at him confused, "Why would I say no?"

He shrugged and looked down, "I just thought maybe you weren't ready for anything serious with me yet."

I cupped his face in my hands and made him look at me, "Jae, I have wanted something serious with you for so long. I'm so happy that you finally asked me. I couldn't imagine being with anyone else."

He smiled, "I never wanna lose you again."

I smiled, "You won't, I promise."

He smiled, "Good."

Then we kissed.
