The Light normally blocks out the darkness, but here, the darkness won. Everything shut down, people locked themselves away. The war started when people ran out of food and other materials, people started looting other houses and stores and it just got worse from there. The Light got blocked out totally when the government fell, people started using other ways, people used unnatural ways, magical ways.
Some people found out a way to get from one place to another in a matter of seconds, to other plants and even other dimensions. People soon covered up what they knew, generation after generation, people forgot. But some people remembered and taught their children, who taught their children and it kept going until hardly anyone left remembered. After Azies parents died, she found her self lonely, except for her three friends, Oliver, and Jenny and Jake. They are the only ones left who know how to Flicker... Will they be able to bring back the Light? Or will the world stay shrouded in Darkness... Azie is a 13 year old girl, Oliver is a 14 year old boy, Jenny is a girl and Jake is a boy and they are both 6 and twins.
