Suddenly Dante bursted through the door, ruining yet another moment.

Dimitri looked at me, disgusted. He pushed me back and shook his head. What the fuck was he doing.

"Dimitri what's going on? I thought I told you not to talk to her. Do you really want to leave early, because you're testing my patience," Dante talked to him horribly.

"She just walked in here, I told her to get out and she wouldn't. You came in at the wrong time."

I looked at Dimitri, my face still stained with tears. A lump in my throat formed and it was hard to breathe. I didn't understand what was going on or why he suddenly changed, but I was done. He never defended me. He never helped me out. It was always my fault.

"Dimitri I-" I was cut off by him.

"You know you're not supposed to be here. I told you that. Now go."

I pushed past Dante and marched out of the room. I was furious. I just had that conversation with Dimitri. I just told him he needed to make up his mind.

I stood outside the door, trying my hardest to calm down. That was until I overheard Dante talking.

"The next time I catch you with her you'll be gone immediately. You're lucky I'm giving you a week. You barely deserve that. You're risking your life and hers. So I'd watch yourself."

Dante walked out and saw me, stopping in his tracks, "go to your room. You don't need to be out here."

"I'll go when I'm ready. You can't touch me," I snapped back. I wasn't in the mood for his shit.

He turned around and walked away, full of anger and empty rage.

Soon after, Dimitri came out and looked at me for a second, he forced a smile, "I had to do that. I'd be kicked out. Sorry."

He walked away and didn't say anything else. I still couldn't believe he had to move because of me. It was my fault. All of this.

It was late now, and I was exhausted from all of the drama and stress. I felt like crying, screaming, and throwing something all at once.

I walked around, stuck in my own head, not really sure where I was going.

I looked up only to be met by an unfamiliar face. She had long black hair and dark brown eyes. Her smile went from ear to ear and she had an energy around her that just brought happiness.

"I don't recognize you, are you Iris? Correct me if I'm wrong," her voice was soft and soothing, much different from the harsh ones I had gotten used to.

"Yeah, I'm Iris. The lucky girl who got kidnapped."

"I'm sorry, it's really for your own good, believe it or not. If you had gotten any information you would've been," she ran her thumb over her throat, "anyways, you look stressed. Can I take you out to get a drink, maybe some food if you haven't had any?"

I hadn't eaten anything besides half the pancake from this morning. She seemed nice enough and I really didn't have anything to lose.

"Sure, why not. I didn't catch your name though."

"Oh I'm Anastasia," she gave me another friendly smile and I returned it.

"You're not going to like drug me or anything, right?"

"I'm a hacker, not a monster. If anything, I'll keep an eye out for the guys who do that shit. I've got you hun," she let out a small laugh to lighten the mood.

I don't really understand why I trusted her, but I did. She was part of the group and seemed friendlier than most.

We walked out to her car and got in, music played loudly as she turned it on. It was some random pop song that played.

She turned it down immediately, "sorry about that, I always keep that on just so I don't drive in silence, it's not really my vibe though. I usually listen to rap."

"It's all good. God I miss driving. I miss going out."

She pulled out of the parking lot, "how long has it been since you've been out?"

"Not that long, but when you're stuck inside that building with a few people you met the other day, it seems like so much longer."

"Understandable. I could introduce you to some of the people, get your name a bit more known. If you don't want to, don't feel pressured to," she continued driving, the pop music playing lowly in the background.

"That would be so nice, thank you. I hardly know anyone so I just stick around the ones I do know."

"Don't worry, I've got you," we continued the rest of the drive in silence.

We pulled in to an old fashioned restaurant. It had more of a café look to it, but it was bigger.

As we were walking in I noticed a familiar car. I thought nothing of it, it was a common car, but it was the one Eli drove. I almost had my hopes up.
