PSALM 67 (FULL CHAPTER)
PSALM 150 (FULL CHAPTER)
If I wanted to be known for anything in my entire life, I would want to be known for being on fire for God. I wouldn't want to be known for my voice or for the fact that I had talent. I wouldn't want to be known for being smart and intelligent. I wouldn't want to be known for who I hung out with or how I even acted around people in general. If anything, I would want people to remember me as the girl who was always on fire for God. I want to be known as the girl that always beat a drum to her own beat and kept God in her heart. I believe that I was made for more in life that just being nice to people. I want to minister to those who are broken and those who don't understand God. I want to be there for all the underdogs and the misfits in life because God loves them too. I want to stand up for those who feel like they can't tell people they love God. I want to show those who are too afraid that its okay to shout from the rooftops that you love God. It's totally okay to dance around and shout in church. You know why? It's okay to do that because when you're praising God, there should be no bounderies. When you're praising God, you shouldn't worry about what others think around you. You NEED to be different and be out there when you're praising God. That's what God loves. My pastor always says that you comfort zone is out of God's comfort zone. What you're uncomfortable with is what God is comfortable with. So, if it feels uncomfortable to dance, sing, and shout your praises to God in church, by all means do it. God loves it when you give your all just to praise him. When you start really praising, you are showing all your love and all your heart for God. This is the message that I want to convey to everyone, not just those of you who are reading this. I believe that everyone's purpose in life is to tell others about this as well. Tell others about how amazing God is. Tell them about the love that he has given us that is out of this universe. Tell them about how wonderfully God has made you and everyone else on this planet. Tell others about how he deserves every step, every breath, every song that you sing, every dance that you do, every phrase that you shout, and everything that you do. If you're sitting here reading this thinking, Well, I think it's totally fine to just mind my own business in church and not show out too much, just as long as I'm saved. Now, answer this for me. When you are standing before God on judgement day, what are you gonna wanna be known for? Are you gonna wanna be known as the person who was only worried about being saved and didn't want to show any glory or praise for God? Or do you want to be known as the person who always gave their all to God? Yes, it's hard because you might fear that others might think you're weird or you may wonder if everybody's eyes are on you and you don't like the attention. But, really think about this. Whose opinion matters the most? Other peoples opinions? Or God's opinion? But, most importantly, if you aren't going to be completely on fire for God and you aren't going to give your all to him when you're praising, then don't make fun or even think about mocking those who are willing to give their all. If anything, you should envy those people because those who give their all in worship are the most free people in this world. I can't express to you the feeling that you have in your heart when you forget the people and forget the eyes watching around you and just focus on God. So, I say to you who are reading, get out there. Be crazy and on fire for God. Give your complete all to him. Trust me, it is worth every single thing you have.
