In a few minutes, the sun will rise from the horizon. The air surrounding was unbearably heavy and freezing seeing that winter was approaching. The view was aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and everyone will be in awe. Mountains was seen from a far with the sun almost showing itself between them and tall trees decorated below and flowers were blooming perfectly.

Before, the word 'appreciation' on her mind was nothing, but when she stumbles upon to see the astonished view, she could finally understand what she meant by 'appreciate the small things around you'.

Nevertheless, not just mother nature but every person who came into her life. She appreciates them all albeit not all appreciates her. come to think of it, she finally fathoms how everyone treats her, it was very obvious but not to her.

But, only one out of them has accepts her openly knowingly how dangerous she was. Kim Hongjoong. She smiled, memories keep on coming at the back of her head, memories with hongjoong.

She was too blinded by her feelings and ignored her true friend that was always by her side. Chuckled silently when she reminisces the day when hongjoong screamed like a mad lady when they rode a rollercoaster, saying he regrets going and agreed to what she say.

Taking out her phone from her coat pockets' as her tangled legs moves swiftly to the front and back. She dials certain number and placed it on her ear, within seconds the other side accepts the call.

"it's 6am, this better be good" hongjoong states with his morning voice, she chuckled, imagine him with his bedhead and barefaced.

"sorry for waking you up" she apologizes, she tried to sound herself cheerful but at the end of her sentence, her voice cracks. Hongjoong being fast, notices it.

"you okay? Where are you? I'll be-"

She shakes her head, rejects him immediately, "no, you don't have to! We'll meet up later"

Maybe.

"well, okay then. Why did you call?" he asked, curiosity was obvious on his tone but he felt uneasy too.

She gazes down to her coat, playing with the button. She looks up to the purple-yellowish sky, feeling tears prickled on her eyes. Her chest was starting to clenched.

"hyu? You there?"

She heaved out a sigh before responding, "yeah I am." A hummed was heard from him as she continues, "thank you hongjoong for all these years. thank you for having faith on me where others don't. thank you for believing in me that I'll change, I'm sorry if I disappointed you. Thank you hongjoong for being on my side. I am not good at expressing my gratitude but thank you so much for being my friend,"

She confesses and few tears has slipped along to her cheeks but she immediately wipes it off, earning a sniffle after that.

"what's with the sad tone, the birds just chirped," he chuckled, trying to lighten up the melancholic mood between them

And hyurin laughs with him too. Cherishing her last moment with him.

She finally remembers why she wanted to call him, "joong, I..."

He hums before she continues, "I cleaned up the place, I threw away all the unnecessary things. When you get there later, there's a small box next to the bed, it's for seonghwa. The photos of him, the letters I made for him, it's all in there. please, give it to him"

She could hear a long sigh from another as he replied, "why don't you give it to him yourself?" he asked, she smiles knowing he'll ask this question.

"I don't want to face him after yesterday, he must've hates me more." She sadly assumed as hongjoong stays silent. There were a few minutes of silence between them before hongjoong decided to speak up first.

"well, okay then, see you later," he says and ended the call.

Yeah see you later, she whispers before placing her phone back to her pocket.

Exhaling out a long of despair, she stood up.

Dragging her suitcase out of her only home that she has lived for almost 3 years. Feeling heavy to leave but had to, knowing this place has nothing but no good memories.

It was finally dawn and it was a perfect time for her to go without anyone notice.

She held out her hand, waving gently at the side of the road and a taxi came, putting her suitcase at the back bonnet before she seats at the passenger seats.

"where are you going, miss?"

"airport"

The ride was gloomy as she stares outside of the window. Despite how dawn was already faded, the colors of the cloud were seen greyish. Was it going to rain or just dark without droplets falling?

Like how she feels right now. Regret, sadness but she had to go.

-

"attention to all passengers, first call to Seoul, Korea, Gate 1 has opened..."

She gazes down to her phone, debating to call one of her friends. In the end, she did. Bringing her phone next to her ear as she waits, while her eyes lingers on the large gate number as if it's calling her to get in faster.

"hurry pick up the ph-"

"hello?"

She slightly jumps when he finally answers, "jongho hi hello finally"

Jongho on the other side of the call was confused, "why did you call?"

She bit her lips, restraining herself from bursting tears, "I'm leaving and don't tell anyone please, even hongjoong..." she plead, desperate was heard on her tone as jongho stays silent,

"I'm leaving for my own good, just promise me one thing...take care of seonghwa and hongjoong cause that guy needs to be take care of." She declares with a chuckle at the end of her sentence and jongho sighed.

"sure, I will. Please come back safely, hyu.." he advices and she smiled, saying her thanks to him before ending the call.

"last call before closing the gate to Seoul, Korea"

And after the call, she ran and leave without looking back. Although her heart has wished she should have stay instead.
