Dawn Breaks

AN: This chapter is going to be all about Chester and Isla. Enjoy!

Chester POV

The sun is shining from the window, straight into my eyes. My beautiful girlfriend is next to me, asleep. Girlfriend. It sounds strange on my lips. I sit up, rubbing my eyes. The first thing I notice is the heart on the wall. It stands out more than ever.

I get out of the bed, and go to the bathroom. I go back into her room, and take the cups and plate downstairs. Isla comes down a few minutes later. She kisses me on the cheek.

"Morning, beautiful" I tell her, making her blush. She goes into the kitchen, coming back with two steaming cups of coffee, and lotus biscoff. She loves those things, apparently it makes the coffee better.

She dunks one into her mug, letting it sit for a few seconds, then takes it out and puts it in her mouth after blowing on it. I laugh, asking her "Does it really do anything for the coffee?"

"Yes!" She responds indignantly.

I grab one of the cookies, and dunk it. I take it out and eat it. Wow, it does actually taste quite good.

"This is good" I tell her.

"Told you so" she says, smirking at me. I turn on the TV, and click something random. It turns out to be a Potter Puppet Pals video, again. It's the one called Apparate. I have to admit, the music is actually quite good. Isla comes and sits next to me, leaning on my shoulder.

Isla POV

I lean on my boyfriend's shoulder. It feels funny, but it also sounds right. I feel... Complete. Like there was a side of me lost, but Chester returned it. I hear footsteps coming down the stairs, and suddenly jump.

I can see why Chester's confused. I move away. Parker comes in, so I quickly go make a cup of coffee for him. By the time I come back, Chester's looking at me, slightly confused. I gesture to Parker with my eyes. I see the sudden recognition in his, and he nods.

I sit down on the opposite sofa, pretending to watch the video, but sneaking looks at Chester every few seconds. Parker doesn't notice a thing (luckily).

After a while, I go back into the kitchen, and grab some dry cereal. I go sit on the other side of Chester. He tries to grab some, but I swat his hand away, then put a few into it.

We go outside for a while, just Chester and me, to a nearby park. Parker is doing something in his room. We hold hands as we walk, joking with each other and laughing, and we take Apollo too, for a walk.

At the park, we play with Apollo for a while, then he runs off to play with another dog, leaving the two of us alone. I blush as Chester pulls me closer.

"Want to get ice cream?" He asks. I notice the ice cream van parked on the kerb, so I pull him with me.  I get a plain cone with bubblegum and strawberry sauce and sprinkles, and Chester gets a blue slushie, with ice cream and bubblegum sauce on top.

We go back to the bench, and Apollo and his friend are still playing, so we eat. We share our ice creams, and Chester's slushie is really good, so I get a red one, for Parker.

We go back home, and I give the slushie to Parker. Chester takes Apollo to his kennel, and I follow him, playing with Apollo for a little longer.

Chester POV

Once we go inside, we wash our hands, which turns into a water fight. By the time Parker comes in, we're both drenched in water, hugging and laughing. He looks amused, and tells us to go and shower.

After Isla comes out, drying her hair with a towel, I shower quickly. We both go down for dinner, then Isla comes into my room, and sits down on my bed. When I start feeling sleepy, she's already asleep, so I carry her to her room, and lay her on the bed, tucking her in, and I give her a small kiss on her forehead.

(Next morning)

I wake up, from the alarm... That I don't remember setting? Why would I set an alarm? I go downstairs, and Parker's downstairs, so I go up to wake up Isla.

"Wake up Isla" I whisper to her. Her eyelids flutter open, and she smiles seeing me. She quickly goes to the bathroom, then comes out, giving me a quick kiss on the lips, then running off.

I snap out of my daze, and go down after her. She's already at the table with Parker, it seems like he made some mini breakfast pizzas for us. They don't taste too bad, so Isla must've chosen the toppings.

We eat, then Parker says he has some 'important work to do', so Isla and I go into the backyard, where we mess around, taking out the old toys in the shed, and sparring with some toy swords. I win, pinning her to the wall. Just then, it starts raining.

Isla POV

The rain is now pouring, but Chester still has me pinned to the wall. He's looking into my eyes, and suddenly, he kisses me, and I kiss him back, letting him lean against me. He caresses my cheek, and I nuzzle further into his chest.

We stay like that for a few seconds, then the rain starts getting really heavy, so we run back inside, holding hands. Chester grabs a towel, and starts drying me off. I grab a towel, and do the same to him. We both laugh, and he kisses me again, taking me by surprise.

We break apart, grinning at each other. I run upstairs, going into Parker's room, and I fall onto the bed. He's sitting at his desk.

"You seem happy" he remarks. He's doing something on his phone, not taking his eyes away from it. Must be checking emails. Or buying something.

I grin again, daydreaming about Chester, thinking about the past day. Parker goes above me, looking at me confused, then waving his hand in my face. I snap out of my daydreams, and scowl at Parker.

He laughs at my expression, so, to retaliate, I attack him. With a pillow. Which results in a pillow fight. After a while of being bashed by his own pillow, he surrenders. That's when I notice Chester filming it all on his phone.

I smirk at him, making him laugh and blow his cover. Parker sees the camera rolling, and starts round two. Chester grabs a pillow from his room, and we both battle Parker.

He holds up for long, then he falls on top of his bed, so we fight each other. I'm the best at pillow fights, but Chester beats me, pushing me onto the bed. I blush, and surprise attack him, which makes him fall over, and I emerge from the mess that I created. I smirk at them both, then run into my room, blocking the doorway with my closet.

Chester POV

Isla runs off, so I sneak into the hallway and go into her room. She's watching the door, which is blocked by her closet. I tiptoe quietly around the bed, then hug her from behind. She shrieks, and turns around. I grin at her, hugging her tighter.

"Got you" I tell her, which cracks her up, and she falls onto her pillow. I lie down next to her, beaming. She hugs me, lying on me. I kiss her forehead. She looks sleepy, and it's about 10pm. As she closes her eyes, I hear her mutter "I love you"

"I love you more" I whisper back.
