Chapter 3

Recap: piya needs to find more about Abhay's human life and vampire life. She still loves him but can't trust him. After college she is suspicious about Sidharth. And she decided to use her powers to use.

Piya goes to her fathers library in hopes of finding a book which can help her learn more about her vampire powers. She finds a book entitled "The mysteries of Ancient creatures".

She read through the book.
"Oh so iska matlab he Abhay ne mujhe jarur poonam ki kisi raat ko kaata he. Kyuki book k mutabik lagatar teen poonam ki raat ko bite karne de vampire ban sakte he. lekin kab kese pata karu."
She checks in the calendar when was the last full moon night. Prom night. She was startled. She remembered nothing about that night. Abhay had told her that he found her in the forest. And yes that was the night she had started reading everyone's mind. First it was Misha. Next day it was Ms Dasgupta. That must be it. But how come she didn't remember anything. She read more in the book. "Vampires have the power to read anyone's mind. But they can also block their mind from being read." She remembered how she had tried reading Abhay's mind and was not able to. She found herself getting angry at him again. "Abhay knew I could read minds and what the hell is he hiding from me."

Just then the doorbell rang. It was Sidharth. Panchi jumped in his arms excitedly. Madhu was also happily surprised to see him. She welcomed him.

Sidharth: I just came to see mr Dobriyal. How is he?
Madhu: he is better. Soon he will be walking on his own.

They sat there chatting. Madhu asked Misha to bring papa.
Piya thought of using her mind reading powers on Sidharth. She was surprised to know she couldn't read his mind. She tried on Madhu n Panchi. She could hear all their thoughts but sidharth's. Arnab walked came there with Misha's help. She tried reading Misha's mind. It was clear. She was thinking about going to Papa's bar and steal his whiskey bottle. She read Papa's mind. And she was horrified. She read all his thoughts and rushed outside towards forest from backdoor. "Oh my god. Danish was not lying. Sidharth kidnapped papa. He threatened him that if he told anyone about his kidnapping he will kill Panchi." She was lost in her thoughts when she heard a noise. She looked behind to find Abhay.

Abhay: tum yaha jungle me akeli kya kar rahi ho. Raat k vakt. Tumhe yaha nai ana chahiye.

Piya looked at him sharply. Her eyes hurt Abhay more. He tried looking away. He was hurting. He couldn't see hatred in Piya's eyes.

Piya: tumhe meri fikar kyun ho rahi he. Tum to vese hi mujhe marna chahte ho na. Ya fir tum mujhe apni tarah banana chahte ho. Ek khoon pine vala dareenda.

Abhay felt hurt. He never wanted Piya to become a vampire. He had cursed his existence always n to think he would bite Piya to make her one. That hurt him deeply. Today Piya questioned his love for her.

Abhay: tum esa soch bhi kese sakti ho Piya. Mene humesha tumse pyar kiya he. Mene to khud ko bhi tumse dur rakha he. Tum mujh pr esa iljam laga rahi ho?

Piya: to aur kya karu me Abhay. Mujhe prom night k din kya hua kuch yaad nai he. Tum ek vampire ho ye me janti hu. Tumne mujhe bite kiya ye bhi janti hu. Aur kaun he jo esa kar sakta he Abhay. Aur kya wajah ho sakti he?

Piya looked at Abhay. Abhay winced his eyes in anger. How could he tell her why he bit her. There is danger lying around her from tonight. Piya looked at his discomforted body language.

She walked closer to him and asked: Tumhara Sidharth se kya rishta he?

Abhay was confused. He wondered why Piya asked about Sidharth's relationship with him.
He answered with much disdain.
