Chapter Nine

I woke up to someone shaking me; I opened my eyes and saw Imogen.

"Immy what the hell are you waking me up for?" I groaned.

She sighed, "You're getting discharged today!" Oh, how could I forget, I thought to myself. "I totally forgot! When?" I asked her my voice dripping in sarcasm.

She sighed again, "In about half an hour." I grinned. "I get my Immy back!" She looked at me as if I just said I was slender man.

"I haven't spent quality time with you for three days!" She laughed and said, "Oh! I know, I missed my Darce!"

Doctor Kamryn barged through the door and yelled, "Visiting times are over!" in Imogen's face.

Imogen grimaced, kissed me on the cheek and sashayed out.

Doctor Kamryn came over to my bed-that-is-only-pretending-to-be-a-bed-because-it-feels-like-a-pile-of-rocks and said: "Now, you will be discharged in about 20 minutes, but you will be on crutches for the duration of the healing process." I nodded.

This doctor was really getting on my nerves, I thought to myself as she walked out.

I grabbed my iPod nano, turned it on and pressed play. Soon 'Life of the Party' by Shawn Mendes started playing. I love Magcon, but my favourite member would have to be Shawn Mendes- he's so cute and hot and just... perfect really.(A/N: I realise Magcon broke up but pretend they didn't and that Brent, Sam, Skate and Jacob are in it too... This information will be very important later on.)

I groped around in the table next to me until I felt my phone; I grabbed it and unlocked it.

I clicked on the Facebook app, there was nothing exciting on it so I exited that and went on Twitter. I scrolled through my news feed and saw a tweet from Ashton Irwin saying: 'Coming back home to Australia for a tour!' I fangirled, I loved 5 Seconds of Summer. I kept scrolling and saw that Michael Clifford sent out: 'Tour dates are: 25th of December to 1st January at the Gold Coast Convention Centre, 7th January to 14th January-' that's where I stopped reading. 5 freaking Seconds of Summer were coming to where I lived... on Christmas!

I kept scrolling and saw Luke and Calum had tweeted about the tour as well. But then a tweet from Imogen caught my eye, 'While my baby @DarciJenkins was in hospital @ElloFisher and I organised a surprise for her. Hope you get well babe xx' Ugh, she knows I hate surprises!

I kept scrolling and saw a tweet from Elliot: 'So this is what a sleeping angel looks like... 👼 http://t.co/NxXok3AQol'

I blushed and turned my phone off when I heard someone walking through the door.

Doctor Kamryn walked in with a clipboard, crutches and my grandma. "Ok, here are your crutches, once you are comfortable walking with them you may leave." She said and handed me a pair of crutches.

Doctor Kamryn walked out so I gradually rolled out of the weird bed and grabbed the crutches.

Walking with the crutches was easier than I expected, my grandma saw that I could walk with them and said that we could leave.

I grabbed my phone and everything I needed like my clothes and shoes.

I walked, with great difficulty as I was holding my clothes, shoes, phone and school bag, to the patient's changing room.
