Chapter 20: Day with EXO

"M-Mom" I cried when she smiled. She brought me to an embrace

"I hope you forgive your father, he had a very hard time" Mom chuckled

"Of course I did! It's hard seeing your children hating you for no reason" Dad whined

"Yeah, next time, don't put me under house arrest" I glared

"Hey, I was planning on telling you that day, but somebody sneaked out" he glared back

"Honey, you can go rest. I'll stay with her for a while" Mom said and Dad left

"How are you?" Mom asked

"I'm fine, I became a Pinocchio, and hiding the fact I'm a wolf is hard" I said

"I noticed" she chuckled

"Do you mind telling me, who this boy is?" Mom asked

"D.O, Kris, Luhan, Xiumin or Baekhyun, which one?" I laughed

"Xiumin" she laughed

"Well, he's nice and cute. He asked me to be his girlfriend a long time ago" I said

"What did you say?" Mom asked

"I still haven't told him" I sighed

"Sweetie, you love him, right?" Mom said and I nodded

"He loves you too, right?" She said and I nodded again

"I don't see any problem with that" she shrugged

"Mom, if I wasn't a wolf, I would've said yes a long time ago" I said

"The answer is simple, you just have to reply" she smiled

"Now call your brother, I want to see how much he has grown" she patted my knee and I laughed

Xiumin's P.O.V

I wonder what's Karelyn doing. We were at the dorm, just playing the usual games. Suddenly Lay's phone rang

"Hello?"

"..."

"What present?"

"..."

"Karelyn, would you stop lying and just tell me what's going on?"

Wait, he's talking to Karelyn? That's not fair!

"..."

"WHAT?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" Lay shouted, making everyone look at him

"..."

"Really? Okay, I'm on my way" He hung up and jumped in... happiness?

"What happened?" Suho asked

"Baekhyun, we need to go to Karelyn's house. Like now" he said, not hiding his excitement

"Why? What happened?" Baekhyun asked, standing up

"Mom's home" he said and ran out

"WHAT?! HEY HYUNG, WAIT FOR ME! YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO'S DYING TO SEE HER!!" Baekhyun shouted, running after Lay.

Karelyn's P.O.V

"Did you run all the way here?" I asked to rhe panting Lay and Baekhyun

"Y-yup" Lay breathed and Baekhyun fell from exhaustion

"And why?" Mom asked

"Because I was excited and ran" Lay also fell and I facepalmed

After the usual chat, I explained Lay what Dad said, obviously with Mom's help. We did the Memorial Ceremony and changed our clothes

"Hey, Karelyn wanna hang with us?" Lay asked and I nodded. I changed into a white loose tank top and some black shorts. I put my converse on and Mom tied my hair into a ponytail, leaving my bangs out to the side, the way I like it
