Patton's POV
Beep beep beep!
My alarm clock went off, and I quickly turned it off.
I got up, got dressed, and did all that morning jazz, then went into the kitchen and made myself some breakfast.
After I finished, my roommate, Virgil Black, came out of his room, and grabbed an apple.
"Hey Virge!" I said.
"Hey, Pat." Virge greeted me. I couldn't tell if the black under his eyes was from lack of sleep, or his eyeshadow.
"Well, I've gotta get to work, might stay a little longer for some soulmate searching, okay?" I asked, as I grabbed my keys.
"Yeah, that's fine, Pat." Virge said, yawning.
"Okay, well, see you later, kiddo!" I said, leaving for work.

When I got to Starbucks, I quickly put on my apron, and went behind the register. I was the one who opened it most days, and as always when I opened, the first person in was Remy.
"Usual?" I asked.
"Of course, gurrrl." Remy said, and he handed me the money, and I made it quickly.
"Here ya go, Remy." I said, handing him his coffee.
"Thanks, gurrl, see you tomorrow!" Remy said, leaving.
The day went as normal, and after I finished my shift, I went for a walk in the park, hoping to find my soulmate.
There wasn't much information on soulmates, as they were somewhat new, but most people said it was like love at first sight, but stronger (yes, Twilight reference was intended).
I had never experienced anything like that. Even though I was loveable, it was always a platonic love.
Virgil was the same, except he wasn't exactly loveable. He was a loner kind of guy. He was dark, and liked being by himself.
Neither of us had found our soulmates yet, so we lived together for rent purposes.
As I was walking, lost in thought, I accidentally bumped into a man.
"Oops, sorry!" I said, then I looked up.
Connection made. (Why did I choose this cliché? The 'knock into random stranger who just so happens to be your soulmate' one... great choice, Tess)
"Why, hello there." This stranger had a weird birthmark on half of his face, which looked like scales, and two different coloured eyes.
"H-Hi..." I stuttered out.
"It would appear you are my soulmate." The man said.
"Y-yeah, I guess it does." I said. The man shook my hand.
"I am Janus Serpent, but most people call me Deceit, Dee for short." The man introduced himself.
"I-I'm Patton Morales." I said.
"Well, Patton, let's exchange contact information. I would talk to you now, but I'm afraid I'm late for a meeting." We exchanged contact info, and he left.
I just met my soulmate... who's a snake. I shook my head, clearing that thought, and headed home, my work complete.

When I got home, Virgil was still there, having the night shift yet again at his work.
"Guess what?" I said, energetically. Virgil might not notice a difference though, since I'm usually energetic.
"What?" Virge asked, looking up from his phone.
"I found my soulmate!" I exclaimed.
"Really?" Virgil asked.
"Yeah! I was walking, and knocked into him... and then when I looked up, I felt the connection most people say happens when you find your soulmate!" I was so happy.
"Well, that's good, Pat. You finally found your soulmate, and maybe I'll find mine soon." Virgil said, but he didn't sound like he believed it himself.
"Oh, c'mon kiddo! You totally will find your soulmate!" I said.
"Jeez, calm down, Pop-Star." Virge said.
"Did you just... call me... Pop-Star?" I asked. Virgil turned around.
"Yeah? Did you not like it? Cause I can stop calling you it if-" I quickly cut him off.
"I love it!" I exclaimed.
"Okay, then... I thought you would." Virgil said.
Suddenly, I got a text from one of my friends. He lived far away, so we usually only talked online.
Princey👑: hey Patton, u online?
Dad🐶: yep!
Princey👑: guess what?
Dad🐶: what?
Princey👑: I moved!
Dad🐶: where?
Princey👑: same city as u!
Dad🐶: rly?
Princey👑: ya
Princey👑: I just got here, and I have a place to stay with another friend of mine
Dad🐶: do I know them?
Princey👑: no, but if u wanna meet him, we're free tomorrow at 2
Dad🐶: sure!
Dad🐶: does he have a soulmate?
Princey👑: ya, so this one isn't urs
Dad🐶: oh, ya
Princey👑: ??
Dad🐶: I found my soulmate!
Princey👑: that's awesome Pat!
Dad🐶: ikr?
Princey👑: maybe u could bring them tomorrow?
Dad🐶: I'll text him later about that
Dad🐶: is ur friend bringing his?
Princey👑: ya, I think so
Dad🐶: ok
Dad🐶: do u have urs?
Princey👑: no, not yet
Dad🐶: neither does my roommate... hmmm
Princey👑: I hope so! But I doubt it...
Dad🐶: lol, ur acting like him
Princey👑: oh well... can u bring him tomorrow?
Dad🐶: I'll ask
"Hey Virge?"
"Yeah?" Virgil looked up from his phone again.
"Are you doing anything tomorrow?" I asked.
"Am I ever doing anything?" Virgil retorted.
"Okay, well... wanna meet my friend?" I asked. Virgil looked back down at his phone.
"No thanks. I'm good."
"But what if he's your soulmate? He hasn't found his yet, and you're both gay!" I said. Virgil looked back up.
"Well.... fine, if you want me to." Virgil said.
"Okay, I'll let him know." I said, and sat down on the couch and continued to text my friend.
Dad🐶: he said he would come
Princey👑: sweet!
Princey👑: anyway, gotta unpack some more, ttyl
Dad🐶: ttyl
I then went and texted Janus.
Dad🐶: hey Dee
Dee🐍: ya?
Dad🐶: are u doing anything tomorrow?
Dee🐍: no, y?
Dad🐶: well, one of my friends wants to meet u
Dee🐍: sure, I can make it, tell me when and where
Dad🐶: ok
I gave Dee the information.
Dee🐍: thx babe
Dad🐶: babe?
Dee🐍: srry if that was too forward... I've been searching for my soulmate my whole life, and am very happy u didn't freak out when u saw my face, like most people do
Dad🐶: oh, it's no issue
Dad🐶: and I've been searching for mine, too
Dee🐍: ig we both got lucky, then
Dad🐶: ya
Dad🐶: anyway, it's getting late

I went into my room, plugged in my phone, and fell asleep.
No, every part will not be a day. I doubt that will work. But I may make an effort for that to happen.

I wanted to make a logicality book not long after I started my prinxiety one, but I didn't have any ideas!
So, when a person (at the very top, or scroll down a little) gave me the idea, I figured, 'why not?'. But, I didn't want this to be normal, oh, no, no, no. As Virgil would say,
