(Yes, that's my own art... I tried, and I had no idea for Receit, so I merely decided 'don't do nothing... it's called using your Logan!' 😅)

"He's so sweet, Virge!" I said, putting my phone down.
"My suggestion? Don't trust him." Virgil said, still looking at his phone, probably texting Roman, by the look on his face. It was a mix of love and hatred. He loved Roman, since he was his soulmate, but he didn't like Roman. According to Virgil, he was too egotistical, too perfect, etc etc. Personally, I thought Roman and Virgil were an adorable couple, but I knew Virgil would either kill me or hug me.
Probably kill me.
"Why not, Virge?" I asked. Virgil looked up from his phone, and didn't look happy.
"He used to be my friend." Virgil said, and looked back down at his phone, obviously not wanting to talk about it, but I was curious.
"Past tense?" I asked.
"Well... he told you his name was Deceit, right?" Virge asked. I nodded. "He was given that name for good reason, Pop-Star. He's a compulsive liar."
"Really? Has he lied to me yet?" I asked.
"I don't think so. It's sorta hard to tell, sometimes, but I've been friends with him for long enough that it's fairly clear. I will tell you when he does, don't worry." Virgil promised.
"Thanks, Virge." I said, truthfully.
Suddenly, I got a text.
Nerd🤖: Hello. Is this Patton Morales?
Dad🐶: Yeppers! And, who's this?
Nerd🤖: This is Logan Berry.
Dad🐶: oh hey, Logan!
Nerd🤖: Hello, Patton.
Dad🐶: is there a reason u texted me?
Nerd🤖: 'you', and not really. I am merely bored, and since Roman and Remus were busy, I was wondering if you were free, so we could talk.
Dad🐶: sure, Lo!
Nerd🤖: Lo?
Dad🐶: well, Remus was calling u that, so I figured it was ur nickname!
Nerd🤖: 'you' and 'your', and yes, I suppose it is.
Dad🐶: ok!
Dad🐶: so, what d'you wanna talk about?
Nerd🤖: 'do you' and 'want to'.
Nerd🤖: Also, I have no idea.
Dad🐶: that's fine, kiddo!
Dad🐶: umm... what kind of movies do you like?
Nerd🤖: Thank you for the proper grammatical tenses you used in that sentence, as I know that is not normal for you.
Nerd🤖: Also, I prefer documentaries.
Dad🐶: ok. I like cartoons the best!
Nerd🤖: Those can be somewhat entertaining, occasionally.
Dad🐶: they're funny!
Nerd🤖: I suppose you are entitled to your own opinion.
I quickly looked at the time, and it was getting close to 1 o'clock.
Dad🐶: sorry, Lo, but I've gotta go
Nerd🤖: 'got to', and may I know why?
Dad🐶: Virgil has an appointment, and I always drop him off and pick him up
Dad🐶: emotional support, y'know?
Nerd🤖: 'you know', and yes, I suppose I understand.
Dad🐶: ttyl, Lo!
Nerd🤖: talk to you later as well, Patton.
"C'mon Virge! You know what time it is!" I said. Virgil looked at the time.
"Do I have to see Picani? I'm texting Roman!" Virgil whined.
"As good as an excuse that is, you know you have to! Plus, we both know how this'll end." I said. Virgil nodded, sent a message to Roman, and we left.
——
After the appointment, Virgil assured me it went well. He explained to Emile that he finally met his soulmate, and when Emile came out with Virge, I asked if we could get coffee sometime.
He used to be my therapist, back when I was seriously depressed. I was getting better, though. My pills were doing a good job, and I was happier, but I still saw him at least once a month.
Anyway, Emile told me he'd come early one morning when I opened the shop, same time Remy did.
Remy was his soulmate, by the way. Valuable information there.
So, we left, promising to see each other soon, and Virgil explained how Emile said that freaking out about your soulmate was normal, especially for a person like him, who's basically the personification of anxiety.
"You do like Roman though, right?" I asked. It was fairly difficult to tell. Whenever he texted Roman, he would either be smiling, or frowning, never one of them, both, changing as quickly as their topics of conversation.
"Yeah, of course..." Virgil said, looking down, embarrassed.
"Don't worry, kiddo, it's normal for someone to be shy. You basically gave up on finding your soulmate, and here he is! You just need to be more comfortable around him." I said. Some people said that after seeing Emile for years, he was rubbing off on me, and people who couldn't afford Emile's prices (which were cheaper than most therapists in the city) would come to me.
"Yeah... but how?" Virge asked.
"Well... maybe hang out with him more? Not just over text, actually go out with him! Not on a date, though!" I quickly backtracked, seeing the fear on Virge's face. "Just... go for coffee, or lunch with him, maybe a walk... get to know him a little bit more! He's not a mean guy, and I doubt he would ever hurt you. Plus, you should see how romantic he is, sometimes."
"Eww, romance." Virge said, making a face.
"That's his namesake. Well, and the Roman Empire, but... anyway, yeah. When he thought he was straight, he would ask out girls, giving them extravagant gifts and stuff." I explained.
"I feel sorry for them." Virge said.
"Wait... you're named after the poet Virgilius, right?" I asked Virge. He nodded slowly. "Virgilius was a Roman poet..."
"Oh, wow... I forgot about that." Virgil said.
"That's pretty ironic, you gotta admit." I said.
"Yeah, I guess you're right." Virge said, and he pulled out his phone. "Now, I promised Princey I'd tell him what happened."
"Aww! Nicknamesssssssssss!" I said, happily. Virge blushed.
"Yeah... he mainly calls me Anx, and I call him Princey. Those are our nicknames, naming things that we act like. I'm an anxious person, and Roman acts like a prince." Virgil explained.
"Yeah, makes sense, kiddo." I agreed.
