Love me tender, love me sweet(Elvis Presley)

Thank you for your support, wattsies.
Really enjoy your response.Disclaimer. I don't own Jace/Riele and any real person in here. And I really don't know if Jace can do the stuff that I write about. So please don't ask him to build you a fire when you meet him, unless you're both lost in the wilderness.
The next day Jace found himself carrying paintbrushes, a roller and buckets of paint. Riele even got him to wear a pair of denim overalls. She snapped him and posted on Instagram. "My own handyman" she captioned the pic.
He didn't mind though. He had spend a particularly delightful night and morning in his darling wife's arms, so when she asked him again in a baby doll voice, obviously he couldn't break her heart by refusing. That would just be wrong.
Jace did pride himself on being somewhat of a D.I.Y. guy. Heck, he had built his own treehouse when he was thirteen and he could pitch without help and build a fire from scratch. His dad taught him and his brother to fish too, although his father did not believe in hunting at all and did not own guns, which suited him fine. Both him and Riele were for the implementation of stronger gun laws in America. He simply did not see the necessity for every citizen in the country to own a firearm and he knew that most people kept more than one firearm in their homes. His mind briefly went to all the mass shootings that occurred almost yearly in his country. You could barely feel safe going to the mall nowadays.
He shook the thought and went back to painting. He was almost three quarters done. He had started early enough that morning after finishing breakfast. Riele left to go shopping. She told him she wanted to buy pots and pans and other household ware.
"Pots and pans?" He asked.
"Yes, sweety, how else am I gonna be able to keep on cooking you delicious meals. You basically have one pan in this kitchen. I've been using that frying pan we got for a wedding present, but that won't suffice."Well, I uh... I only cooked for myself. No, sweety, you can't cook a decent dinner in one pan unless you're a cowboy.
And we also need some decent cutlery, not to mention..Jace almost forced her out the door.
''Bye, baby... see you later.. enjoy yourself."
"Are you sure you don't want to join me?"
"Join you? Oh baby, I wouldn't dream to impose on your shopping time. Tell you what, why don't you go over to my mom and take her shopping with you. Heck, take my sister and Ella along. The more, the merrier. Make it a girl's Day out.
Take one of my credit cards and spoil yourselves."Her eyes lit up. "Really? Wow, that is just so sweet of you..she gushed. Are you sure... you don't want to.?
'' Baby you know I love spending time with you but after I finish this I still have those pipes in the bathroom I have to look at.
"Pipes? I didn't know there was something wrong with the pipes?"
"Oh yes, and that might take me the rest of the day."
"Okay, well, I'll leave you to it then. Bye, sweetheart.
"Bye baby. Love you. Now go "Jace sighed in relief. It was true. He loved her dearly and would do anything with her but shopping was not his favorite activity. He just imagined how he would have to go from store to store with her. Her could almost hear her now. "Jace, should we take the black kettle or the red one? Should we take the toaster or the waffle pan? Urgh.!
And to shop for cutlery and crockery? He wasn't crazy. He would rather eat from the floor with his hands than go stand in a line for these items.
Luckily his mother helped him with the stuff when he first moved in. Heaven knows, he didn't even go out to but them, he simply took a set of knives, forks and spoons from his mom's and a few plates and glasses and that one pan she mentioned and he was good to go.
Furthermore, he always ordered food or are out and every second Sunday he ate at his parents' house. He occasionally threw something on the barbecue.
Now if course that all changed with his marriage to Riele. The minute they stepped foot inside the apartment she started making changes. Within a week she had overhauled the whole look of the place. Jace was quite impressed. It felt more cosy and warm and like a real home. This was of course a mere precursor to when they finally have their dreamhouse. Right now they were still deciding if they should just build a house or buy one. Jace has also been thinking about getting his brother and sister involved in his businesses so that he would have more time to spend with Riele. He hoped they could start a family in a few years time and he also wanted to help Riele establish her own fashion brand.
Riele
Riele, meanwhile had taken him up on his offer. She went to his mother's house and invited her and Glory to join her. His mother then suggested that Elle and Ella join them. And there you have it; the five musketeers were ready to take on the town.
They were currently having lunch in a little place at the mall.
"You know, ladies, I am really glad Jace suggested that I ask you to come with me, let's face it, it's Soo much more fun to shopping with you guys.
"Of course, my son hates shopping," his mother replied.
Riele giggled. "I know, he suddenly has to fix pipes in the bathroom too"
His mother laughed."I'm glad you are in his life again, Riele. He is so much happier and full of life... And I don't have to worry about him having a decent home-made meal.
Riele felt her face warm up.
"Aww... no need to feel embarrassed, honey. You know you're good for that boy," her mom spoke up.
"Mom"
"And I for one, cannot wait for my grandbabies" she gushed.
''Mom!"''Mmm..Jace did mention something about godchildren" Ella entered the fray.
Riele covered her face with her hands, mortified.
"Can we change the subject, please?" Riele begged.
''Of course, baby.. didn't mean to put you on the spot.
"Thank you mom"
"But I still want my grandkids !" She warned.Well, Hope you liked the chapter.
