It was a peaceful hour in the hospital where Hagan Robertson had just been born. Felice looked down with teary eyes smiling warmly at her newborn daughter. The precious combination of the baby and her happy mother seemed to illuminate the entire hospital.
Hagan had a special glow in her eyes. It was a beautiful purple sparkle by her pupil that seemed out of the ordinary. Felice had heard the three doctors in the hospital phone mention something unique and unexplainable in her child's eyes. She thought it was beautiful and didn't care if it was unexplainable. She just took it as a sign that her world was about to be so much brighter. The doctors had a concerned look in their eyes as she watched them discuss the prolonged topic of Hagan's eyes. One of the doctors picked up the room and spoke, "We have another case of glowing eyes. How many more babies are scheduled to be born today in the state?" There was a long hesitation before he spoke again, "Wow, none of the 124 born today had a pair of non glowing eyes? Well, we'll wait and see how the other 76 scheduled turn out." He hung up the phone and looked over at Felice who had a concerned and confused look on her face.
