Chapter 10 ~ Matthias

"Rise and shine, beautiful." Mark said. He woke me to breakfast in bed. Pancakes with butter and syrup, orange juice, and scrambled eggs. "Awe. Mark your so sweet." I said happily. "You said in a video way back that this would be your dream breakfast. So, here ya go."

I smiled. "We have a big day today." Mark said. "We are meeting up with Matthias for a video." He said. "Then we are all hanging out." "Ooh yay!" I said, excitedly. I ate and then got ready. I wore my Markiplier t-shirt, dark blue skinny jeans, and hot pink and black converse. I straightened my hair. I ran downstairs.

I sat on the couch. I turned on the news. It was news about my parents' car accident. I saw pictures of the car, what hill, even a picture of the deer that hit them.

Mark walked in the room and stopped. He saw me put my hands on my forehead and run them through my hair. He sat down next to me and put his arms around me. I got up and hugged him back, burying my head in his shoulder.

"Okay. Can we please get out of here?" I asked. "Sure thing kiddo." He said. We got up and left. Off to Matthias'. "What is Matthias' beliefs?" I asked. "Why?" Mark asked. He had a curious look on his face.

"Just curious." "Uh... I don't know." Mark said. "Okay." I said. "I guess I will just have to watch what I say." We got to Matthias' house. He came out and said Hi to us. "This is Hope." Mark introduced me. "Hey," Matthias said. We shook hands. "And you're Matthias." I said smiling.

"Yes, I am." He said back, laughing. "You can call me Matt." We all walked into his house. "What do you guys wanna do?" Matt asked. "We need to get you and Hope in a video." Mark said.

"We need to get her subscriber level up as much as we can. Something involving singing. That's what she does on her videos." "How about..." Matt said. He trailed off into thought. "Let's do the shock ball challenge." I said. "How does it tie into singing?" Matt asked.

"Instead of SAYING the categories and stuff, we sing it. Like when you would say name something in the human body, and I would have to sing a song with a part of the human body in it." I said. "That's actually a good idea."

"Let's do it!" I said excitedly. They all got set up. "I'm warning you, this does... Feel... Help me here Mark." Matt asked. "Um... She's tough she will find out." Mark said. "Alright let's get started." I said.

We sat next to each other. Matt just happens to look down at my wrist. "Whoa Whoa Whoa!" He said, jumping up. "Mark, did you know about this?!" He yelled. "Yeah." He said signing. "Completely forgot about it, to be honest. I'm monitoring her. That was from before I adopted her." He said.

Matt ran in the kitchen. He has my hair ties and some bracelets. He gave me a Markiplier bracelet and a Matthias bracelet. It covered everything. "So.. Um.. I want you to quit. I don't wanna see you ruin yourself." Matt said. "Thank you." I said.

"I just wonder... Why?" Matt replied. I teared up. "Please don't ask that question." I said. "Alright." He said. "Let's do this." He turned on his camera. I blinked the tears back. I hope mom and dad are proud of me for stopping. I love you, Mom and Dad.
