Once me and Veronica got me cleaned up I went back out to cheer on the sidelines with the rest of the girls, the picture of Pollys neck popping up and terrifying me. Once the game was done I packed up my stuff. The image popping up again as I blanked. "Hey" I felt a tap as I gasped and spun around. I grabbed my chest. "Juggie you scared me." He smiled. "I was wondering if I could walk you home, you know because there's a killer on the loose and also uh.." "yeah sure jug." I said as I grabbed my bag.
We walked home in the rain in silence. "Hey can I ask you something." I looked at him. "What happens when you were speaking about Polly." I looked down. "I just froze I'm not a good speaker." I said. He nodded. "I just miss her so much. My moms paranoid my family crumpled. I feel like I don't have a home anymore. It's cold and dark and-" he grabbed my hand and interlocked our fingers. I looked at him. "It's going to be okay." He said rubbing his thumb on my hand. "It's human to feel this hurt, Polly was your besfriend. But if you ever need a place to stay, or someone to talk to or even just to keep you company, I'm always one call away."
I stopped walking. "Jughead." I said. He looked at my lips and then my eyes. He pulled me in and kissed me as I cupped his face with my hands and kissed him back. We kissed for what felt like 5 seconds but was really almost a minute as we both slowly pulled away. I caressed his cheek with my thumb. "So what does this mean for us?" I asked. "Maybe we can, be more then friends?" "Like boyfriend and girlfriend?" I smiled. "Like boyfriend and girlfriend." He smiled back. "I like that." I kissed him again.
