That night I layed in bed facing the ceiling. The room was pitch black. I couldn't see. I was scared again. I went to get up to go get Polly but relized she wasent there anymore. The tears rolled down my cheeks onto my pillow. I gripped my stuffed animal cat to my chest as I silently sobbed in my bed. With nothing but the tears and the night.

"Polly your going to make me fall!" I giggled as she pushed me on the swing higher. "I'm not going to let you fall Betty!" a young Polly said. We both giggled as I fell onto the grass and scraped my knee. I cried on the grass as Polly ran over. "Betty are you okay? Here let me give your booboo a kiss!" She bent over and kissed my knee as we both got up and started playing. Then it went dark. The nightlight I have her shown in the dark empty void. Bright. "Polly!" I smiled.

I woke up to it still dark, but snow falling gently and slowly from the sky. I smiled.

The next day I went to school and saw something at pollys locker. It was a memorial. I walked up to it and brushed my hands over the pictures of her, and the letters. I walked away to my next class.

Jughead and I walked to class the next day as I stayed silent. He stopped walking and grabbed my arm softly, leading me into a empty classroom. "Hey are you sure your okay?" He rubbed his arm on my button up shirt. "Yeah I just, haven't slept since everything. It's just been a little, different latley." I took a deep breath and then realized how dark I was being. "But I am okay I promise just a little tired." I smiled tightly. He knew I was lying I could tell by the way he was looking at me. "Well I think you deserve a little distraction, is your mom home tonight?" I made a face and giggled. "No, no it's not, I mean I was going to watch a movie with you but if you want to do that then..." I playfully slapped his arm. "Your such a dork Jug, as long as I get to pick the movie." I kissed his cheek and rubbed his arm. "I have to go off to class now but I'll text you time." He nodded and smiled as I walked out of the class.

That night I layed on the couch in my pjs near the fire as Jugheads arms wrapped tightly around me. I watched the TVs bright colors making me feel exaughsted, my eyes droopy and stung every time I blinked. I was trying my hardest to keep them open but everything inside me was telling me to just shut them, for a second or a minute. Jughead looked at me as I stared at the screen. "Hey it's okay if you want to go to sleep, you'll be fine." I looked up at him. "Will you leave if I do?" He looked at me as I stared into his charming eyes. "Not unless you don't want me here." He rubbed my arm and smirked as I smiled. "Hey I'm serouis I'm right here, nothing is going to happen." I nodded as I layed back into his chest. "'I'll rest for a few minutes." I said as I closed my eyes. The darkness formed around me as I fell asleep.

Polly apeared holding a doll. She was young again. There was something so creepy yet so alluring to come near her. I walked close to her. "Betty you never share your dolls with me." I furrowed my eyebrows. "Rember this doll." She brushed the locks of blonde hair on the plastic dolls head. "It was yours, and then I took it and hid it from you." I looked at her trying to understand what was going on. "I hid it behind my dresser, because I thought you would be mad at me that I took it." I sighed and looked down. "I'm sorry Betty. But you can have it back now." She held it out infront of her as I stepped back a little bit. She sat waiting from me to reach out. I went to grab the doll as she touched my hand waking me up.

I jumped up and gasped as Jugheads arms let go. He seemed startled as I looked back at him. "The doll." I said. He furrowed his eyebrows. "Okay that is not creepy at all." I shook my head. "No I used to have this doll and," I widened my eyes realizing what the dream was telling me. "I need you to come with me." I stood up and walked upstairs.

Jughead followed me up to Pollys room as I turned on the light. Her room had been untouched since she died, it was almost like she had never left. I walked in as Jughead came close behind. I picked up a picture of her from her side table. Her and my mom sitting on the beach smiling. I put it down and gestured to the dresser. I moved it away from the wall just enough to fit my hand in and feel around the empty space. I hit something hard, and felt a lock of plastic hair as I grabbed it pulling it out. I gasped as tears sprung to my eyes. "My doll!" I smiled. The golden hair perfectly combed, the green eyes and freckles wearing a pink dress. I touched the fabric as I held it delicately. Jughead looked lost as I turned to him. "I was dreaming of Polly, she was playing with it and she told me it was behind her dresser. She took it from me when we were younger because I didn't want to share." I laughed. He smiled. "She told me where it was after all these years." I laughed.
